Bionaire PERMAtech Ionizing Air Cleaner

I brought the air cleaner to use when my future daughter in law visits. She is allergic to cats and we have them. We tried the air cleaner out in our bedroom. My husband has been having a bad year with hay fever....the cleaner helps him to sleep better and wake up without the congestion....even in a home with a full house electronic air cleaner. He is going to have to learn to share when she visits the next time.....

I bought this product a couple of months ago, and had higher hopes for it than what it actually performed. It is a bit noisy even on the lowest setting. The filter system is somewhat antiquated; paper-type filters that have to be vacuumed, which just spreads the junk back into the air unless you do it outdoors, which is rather inconvenient. I noticed some change in air quality, but not as much as I'd hoped for. I later bought the Ionic Pro, and it is utterly silent and does a magnificent job at making the air not only smell cleaner but FEEL cleaner. I might recommend this Bionaire one to a friend, but not one whose home is in a high-allergy area.

This product is very good. I would recommend it to anyone. It does what it says. The only thing I didn't like about it was that it didn't have a warranty.

very good product! I have allergies and I am usually stuffy at nite but this as changed that. I am shocked yet vry satisfied. Its not the best looking but it does the job well! thanx overstock!

We've had this air purifier for about a month. It makes our old, dusty house smell fresh, and we can breathe much better at night--even with the cat on the bed. It is not as noisy as I thought it would be (after reading all the reviews). I can sleep with it on the medium setting and still hear my daughter calling me from the next room. And it makes a steady, pleasant white noise that you can easily ignore. It also has an oscillating setting, which was a nice added bonus that I didn't expect. I am very happy with this product.
