Klipsch RF-25 Floorstanding Loudspeaker - 2 Pack

Basic Blah

Look, I’ve had just about enough of you criticizing my taste. Now, are you going to help me glue this fake zebra fur to this speaker cabinet or not?

See, I believe in pleasing all the senses. You might say I’m sensual. Which I don’t mean in a sexual sense, but then again, I won’t argue if that’s how you interpret it. My point is, while this pair of Klipsch RF-25 Floorstanding Loudspeakers are wonderful on the ears, they don’t do much for the eyes.

I mean, look at them. So plain. So Amish. They’d fit right in in that concrete storage space I used to live in when I was on the pipe. But now that I’m back in the high life again, I need speakers that look as fabulous as they sound. Those dual 6.5-inch Cerametallic woofers and Klipsch Tractrix™ Horn tweeters just aren’t enough. The problem is, if you want that powerful, vibrant Klipsch sound, there’s no more attractive option at anywhere near this price.

So I’m D’ing It Y. Gold spray paint, a few rhinestones (well, more like a few dozen), some peacock feathers, a menagerie of animal-print fabrics, some faux wood-grain shelf paper, and all the googly eyes that Hobby Lobby would sell me: it’s a start, anyway. Finally, my Klipsch RF-25 Floorstanding Loudspeakers provide the visual sensation to match their aural appeal. When that deep, dynamic Klipsch bass really gets thumping, you should hear those googly eyes shake.

Warranty: 5 Year Klipsch

Features:

  • Dual 6.5-inch woofers and Klipsch Tractrix™ Horn technology give the RF-25 bass authority and dynamic impact that defy its size
  • 1-inch titanium dome compression driver tweeter for the high frequencies, loaded by a 6-inch square 90° x 60° Tractrix® Horn molded into the front of the enclosure
  • Efficient, requires only a quarter the amplifier power of conventional speakers
  • Works well standing alone in a stereo music system or anchoring a sophisticated home theater
  • Low-resonance Cerametallic™ cones and cast-polymer frames enable the twin woofers to generate rich, clean, room-filling bass
  • Magnetically shielded to prevent interference with direct-view television sets
  • Amplifier connections are via two pairs of binding posts, which are strapped together for
normal wiring. Removing the straps allows the speaker to be bi-wired
  • Magnetic posts hold the RF-25’s low-diffraction grille securely in place and the outrigger feet can be fitted with adjustable-height rubber pads or spikes
  • Sonically matched to other Klipsch Reference Series loudspeakers
