Battlestar Galactica (The original). But the remake was really good too.

I really liked Firefly & Farscape as well as some of the Treks but my all time favorite so far is Stargate SG-1 and then SG Atlantis!

Babylon 5. Or Dune (Sci Fi channel). Or Firefly. Brisco County, Jr. (steampunk before it was popular). Or hell, many others. Even comedy; Red Dwarf! There are so many worth mention.

Loved many of the Treks and many of the Stargates. But nothing has been as good as Firefly.

Firefly. Hands down. WHY it was not on your list is beyond me. I feel that woot.com has betrayed me, suddenly, but inevitably.

I love Star Trek, Doctor Who, Torchwood, Farscape, Firefly, Battlestar Galactica, Babylon 5 and Stargate SG-1...but Stargate: Atlantis takes the cake for me. <3

If I had to choose only one, I'd say Firefly. However, I like what I'm reading in the comments. Stargate, Futurama, Battlestar Galactica... all fantastic shows as well. You are my people.

Firefly? Please. How could a series that gets axed after 14 episodes be "the best ever"?

I would have to say:
Outer Limits 1963
Outer Limits 1996

Variety is the spice of life. Each Outer Limits episode had a different cast, set, and writer unlike many of the other series which had the same cast, set and writer week after week. Twilight Zone had some excellent sci-fi episodes, but it was also heavy on fantasy and horror, so I don't consider it pure sci-fi.
