I was just wondering if anyone knows all the words that are changed by woots filter and the reason behind them. I can understand the refurb (rox0rz!) and Bandolier of Carrots, but c.o.o.l to ribs? I don't get it.

there's also Where's the feet?

and then there's competitor sites that get translated to 'lame' and 'lame.com'

if you go to urbandictionary.com and look up 'ribs' it will make perfect sense.

there are also more, pg41 of the April Fools Bandolier of Carrots thread, they deleted my other copied post that i put up here.

Look at the glossary at BagsOfCrap.com... It doesn't have ALL of them (because I don't want to advertise competing sites)...

There's also "snuffleupagus," but I won't directly reveal what that one is.

Same with "smurf," "doody" and don't forget "meanie."

Also, everyone has seen "refurb (rox0rz!)."

"Killa" is "I'm wearing poopie diapers."

I don’t know what the rational behind all of these additions to the word filter, but it sure makes the discussion threat a little more interesting during the woot-off.

Damn, I miss the ribs one. Sometimes when I see "ribs" (on some page, for some perfectly normal, legitimate, non-goofy reason), I get a little jolt of happy-brain, associating it for a few nano-seconds with woot.

I was passing a car wash one day and the marquee said "free vacuum" and I read it as "free suc.ks" at first.
