I would pay the $7.99 for a copy of the ice pirates. Loved that movie...haven't seen it in years. Remotes suck.

I have two of these from the last time they were on WOOT. THEY HAVE TROUBLE PICKING UP CABLE BOX CODES!!!. My Comcast digital signal is a 5 number code for the box. These units only accept three number codes. Save your money. Get a "smart" remote and pay the extra bucks

Are these things built to scale?

I don't know why people are putting these down? I bought a 2 pack the last time they were up and they work well. I gave them to my parents and grandparents.

I bought one of these from CVS about 4 months ago and works great, sorta. It is nothing special as a remote but is a great conversation starter and you never lose it between the couch cusions! great woot, i'm in.

what are the actuall "jumbo" dimmensions on these anyway

I got a few of these @ CVS, cheaper, using coupons and some ECB's I had just laying around.....

I'm waiting for the 2 tiny remotes that are powerful enough to change my neighbors T.V. I don't have remote envy.

Ice Pirates and Krull!!!! Two great 80s flicks. Nice flashback woot. I just bought IP on DVD too.

As for the remotes, they are made in China. As mentioned previously, my family and I have boycotted Made In China products. And that's much harder than you think.

Not to popular on Amazon... 3s and 2.5s, etc.

I bought these a while ago as a gag gift for my not-quite-senior-citizen parents. They laughed for a bit, then I'm pretty sure the remotes ended up in the bottom of a drawer somewhere.

I buy these by the case and then sell them to residents at assisted living places. Those people love them!

051 works for me for the Comcast Motorola digital cable box
