that's a really good category. There should be an additional prize for this week's contest, that Woot will feature the contest (or a slightly altered version therof) of the winning entries (like they did for the Blinged-Out Cabbage acronym contest)

Wiz, it's not too bad - but since you asked, I'd use Transform - Distort to bring the upper right corner out a little more to fix the perspective (that corner looks a little low), and maybe show the back half of the camera under the water. Also, the light appears to be coming from the right (her left), so maybe enlongate the shadows on the left sides (her right) of her feet and legs.

Just dont fall for the 3 classic blunders:
1) Never get into a land war in Asia.
2) Never go in against a Sicilian when death is on the line.
3) Never buy a Lexmark/ Vivitar bundle when it's easier to just burn your money. Plus you save 5 bucks in shipping.

Alright, busted. We admit to spending most of this week booking cheap airline tickets, reserving hotel rooms, making lists, and collecting every conceivable beach toy the kid could possibly want to play with. That kind of means we kind of forgot about coming up with a whiz-bang, star-spangled contest theme for the extended weekend. So sue us. (You'll need to wait til at least next Wednesday though because not only won't we be in the country, but all governmental offices will be closed as well.) To help distract you from your litigational delusions, we'll dust off an old but popular contest theme, and hand it to you in the spirit of recycling:

Create an anagram for 'Lexmar Printer/Vivitar Camera', then show us that anagram in action.

You've got an extra couple of days this time around, in light of the fact that we're going to be spending the whole weekend basking in the sun on a Woot-optional beach, somewhere in South America, so take your time and don't expect to see the winners announced until Wednesday, July 5. It might actually be later Wednesday, depending on how bad, and where we get sunburned.

Post your entry here by by 11:59 PM CST on Tuesday, July 4, 2006. Prizesare $20/$50/$100 for 3rd/2nd/1st. The rules and criteria for winning: our panel of geniuses can and will make stuff up as it goes along. Use Photoshop, pen and ink, tattoos, sand-painting, whatever, but it’ll only be judged if it’s visible in our forums as a jpg, gif, or png. Try to keep your maximum width to 223px.If you need a place to host your pictures, try www.imageshack.us or www.photobucket.com. We have no connection to either, but will beat you senseless if you insist on hosting them somewhere else that has sucky bandwidth. And if you want us to be sure your entry was indeed your work, post links to your source images. The more sure we are that you did your own work, the more likely we are to consider it for a prize.
