Finally got my shipping notice this morning. Tracking says it should be delivered Oct 9. Hope they are right.

Finally got my shipping notice this morning at 3 AM. They arrived yesterday. :p

I kind of regret buying 2 sets, now. But they seem nice enough. It is a bit annoying sometimes trying to open them up, but for some reason mine aren't as hard to open as the 8 gig that the guy down the hall bought from a previous Woot.

got my email this morning, but says delivery date of 10/13 (im in GA) that seems like a long delivery time.......

Looks like I will be the last to get them as my arrival date is for 10/15. That just after I gave woot a good comment, oh well I'm not in any dire need for them as some of the others here.

Mine also shipped last Friday 10/3 and is set to arrive this Saturday 10/11 (CA). Email notification came this morning. Wish they showed up in my mailbox before the notification came like others here.

est 10/13(AZ) delivery for me. It seems like a long time, two weeks from order. For some reason it shows it spent 4 days in Dallas. oh well, hopefully they arrive soon

I just received mine in the mail today. However, I order a quantity of 2 (2-Packs) and only received a total of 3 Thumbdrives. Has anyone else had this happen to them?

As you can read from my post at the top of page 11....I ordered a total quantity of 6, but only received 2 yesterday. Not sure what is going on.

says estimated time in home: 10.13.08. that seems really long, almost a week away, especially considering i bought them 8 days ago.

i wonder if woot is having problems with shipping. maybe they are just really busy, which is a good thing.

This is Woot, not Amazon with their 'next day shipping'. Woot often says they'll ship by the slowest, cheapest method possible, just relax it'll arrive. I've had Woots show up 3 days later, I've had stuff take 2 weeks - we got great deals, and the trade-off is sometimes it takes a few days.

Go back and read the posts about the 2fer when they sold the 2 gb Kingston Micro
SD cards.

There were people there that it took over a month to get their items!

This is smartpost people. Do your research. It is the SLOWEST, worst way to ship
an item.

Read the stories about lost packages, packages stuck in "sorting stations" and
packages that criss-crossed the country multiple times.

In the coming weeks, you'll be reading about the exact same thing happening to
these thumb drives, and every single other item shipped via smartpost.

I guarantee it will not be different this time.

Let the shipping horror stories begin!!

Okay, with all of these people 'losing' their thumbdrives, you would think that there must be some sort of huge cache of found thumbdrives somewhere.

My tracking page said that my order was in an Atlanta sorting center Saturday. (try saying that five times fast) So I expect it to get down here (South Florida) sometime this week.

Got my info today, smartpost says its at a sortation about 30 minutes from my house and the est delivery is this saturday. i hope that wrong

My tracking page doesn't even list a probable delivery date. Where is this information located?

This is a first for me! Most of the items I have ordered arrived within a week. A couple of items came the next day without paying overnight shipping. I thought maybe it was because of my close proximity to Woot or that they really, really liked me. More likely is the volume sold and Smartpost.
Mine should arrive Thursday.

I received a tracking number on October 3rd showing it in Dallas, TX. Today's October 8th and it just left Dallas, TX. Maybe that's why it only cost $5 to ship everything. Part of the trade-off is waiting. Not my strong suit.

Got my tracking email yesterday; got my drives yesterday (ordered qty 3, got six total flash drives).

how much cheaper is fedex smartpost for woot? if usps ends up delivering it anyway wouldn't it cost less to ship using them in the first place? hope it comes on saturday like it posted.

While I try to figure out why my Flash drives get a tour of the states, I can answer the question of why they make people pay a fuel surchagre!

This has some really strange routing. I'm in Denver. The package went from Carrollton, TX to various "sortation centers" - first to Dallas, TX; then 5 days ago to Denver - WHERE I AM! - but then on to Phoenix, then to Los Angeles. I wonder how many more places it has to go before returning to Denver to be delivered to me!

Well I guess Smart Post isn't as horrible as I thought. Everything since that 9/2/08 Kingston 2GB MicroSD x2 pack Woot has arrived in a timely fashion. I guess that 9/2 Woot was seriously messed up by Ike.

Because its smartpost!! When Fedex has enough packages to ship to your area,
they will collect them up in another sorting station, and then, maybe in another
week or two, it may get to your local post office. From there, the post office will
deliver it to your door.

Thats why smartpost is so horrible. Neither Fedex nor the post office is in charge
of packages from start to finish, so neither will take repsonsibilty if one is lost,
stolen, or just sitting for weeks and weeks in a sorting station.

Your troubles have just begun my friend. You don't even have a projected delivery
date yet. Thats bad. If your items are not lost, stolen, or stuck in another sorting
station, then you will not see your items for about two more weeks at best.

yea i hate snail mail 2. i can renber the good old days when woot shiped regular fedx i used to get the items in a total of one week. i miss those days
