I think I'm up to 15 bags now, but I've been Wooting for quite some time. The early bags were usually pretty unique and weird and not many were the same except for the bag, bucket, backpack or whatever the container happened to be for that particular sale. Lately there is a sameness to them which may reflect the popularity of the bags or corporate decisions to simplify the distribution of items. Woot used to have them with the buy 1, 2, or 3 buttons but people were always griping that they wanted 3 but chose 1 by mistake and Woot was usually kind enough to add in the extra craps. I imagine that got kind of old and they decided to just sell three at a whack and be done with it. Woot can't be making any money on the bags; it's a loss-leader and a way to keep interest in the rest of the Woot-off at a high level.
Best crap I think I've gotten was a Kodak 5100 color printer/scanner/copier that was new in the box. We use it all the time at the house (thanks again, Woot!). I've gotten monkeys in them (we have a rainbow assortment at the house from the bags plus the ones that I've purchased) and lots of earphones. I even got a Sansa once along with a digital camera/MP3 player and some portable speakers. The Pink Panther DVD collection was nice, too. Most of the stuff winds up as gifts to friends and relatives or donations to yard sales and the like.

Between my wife and I, we've snagged about 20 or so of them. The early ones were more interesting than the later ones which seemed to mostly be chock full of craptacular cordless phones.
Higher prices AND crappier blanks, no thank you

I'm in Alabama, actually. Usually it's just dumb luck and/or persistence that seems to get them. I was able to get one today by continually reloading/resending in the face of the 503 errors until I got a legitimate page where I could enter my code and click the gold buttons. I have also found that Firefox works like a charm for me while IE is only okay and Chrome stinks for getting the bag, though I don't know why. Other people have reported different results with the same browsers. Several of the bags I've gotten have been the special day bags, such as April Fool's day. I get them over AT&T DSL at work and Charter cable modem at home so I don't think the carrier makes much difference.
