You should be up high where everyone can see you and take a look.
Your daddy takes good care of you, but he can't be here all the time.
That's OK, let ol' Neo give you a boost up...

That's better...

I was going to do a tribute piece for Alien based on the one D'name posted earlier (I was going to take his graffiti and put it on the side of the Woot HQ), but decided to go a different direction since she already posted the original.

Thanks gwp. It made me laugh a lot and cry a little.

I'm waiting for the anniversary.
I did give to Special Olympics when they sent the mail this year, that was one of ARGH favorites.
Did you sent the notice to his sister? She would like that.

Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center was an amazing place.
I suspect they have more money than they know what to do with, but at least it shows when you go.
The people there were all very nice and the care was great.
My sister in law is a nurse and she knows people who work there. They are trained that way, it wasn't that we got on a good floor, with a good head nurse. Kindness is expected from the staff.
It is also the only hospital I have ever seen that had computers for patient use. If you can leave your room, you can woot!
We weren't there long, it was father in law and the biopsy was negative for cancer, but from what we saw, none of us would hesitate to go back again if we needed it.

talking about Sloan, a number of years (5) ago my father was scheduled for some heavy chemo sessions over passover. The hospital helped us arrange hotel rooms for the entire family so we can spend the holiday together. We made reservations and everything. One of his doctors, seeing what we were going thru to spend the holiday together found a way of allowing my father to spend the holiday at home and personally came to check on him every day. Some great people work there.

Fellow Wooters,

I am participating in WalkAmerica because I believe in the March of Dimes mission to save babies. Please support my fundraising efforts by sponsoring me in WalkAmerica today.

Contributing to my walk online is fast, easy and secure. You can donate directly from my personal webpage with a credit/debit card or PayPal. Just click the appropriate box on my webpage.

The money we raise helps save premature and sick babies. Premature birth is the #1 cause of newborn death and the biggest threat to babies’ health today, and through WalkAmerica, the March of Dimes is funding important research to find out why premature birth happens and what can be done to prevent it.

I’ve joined with millions of compassionate people across the country who support WalkAmerica each year. Won’t you please help me in this worthy cause? Visit my webpage and sponsor me in the walk that saves babies!

With your support, there’s hope.

Please follow the link below if you are interested in donating or becoming a walker yourself!
