I thought she was just the person? She's just a backup?

I thought she said backup.

Well, another day has passed and I didn't use algebra once.

RejectedSkittles wrote:been uberbusy. The voice over career is really taking off. I'm live announcing the MTV VMAs in Vegas next weekend and the audition process was grueling.

RejectedSkittles wrote:Thanks!

I have to go hang out in a studio starting Tuesday to voice things and wait while they're approved. That will be Tuesday thru Thursday. Friday is a travel day and I'm trying to get them to fly me out early so I can play some. Then there's no sleep Saturday and Sunday, just last minute stuff. And Sunday night, I stand by in case anyone keels over. Between this and the 3 Subaru commercials running, I'm hoping an agent is right around the corner!

I think what she means is most of it is being recorded in advance, but she still has to actually be there in case something happens to someone who should be on stage and they need her (the announcer) to fill in (or maybe in case their playback equipment breaks). I'm going off the way she's continued to say that she's announcing it, not back-up announcing. I can see how it could be interpreted that she's just a back-up, though. Too bad she's not around to clarify. Course, we can tune in and hear for ourselves!

Not sure yet. I don't know if it's allergies or sinus problems, but my head's really clogged up again and slept lousy because I couldn't breathe. Will have a couple cups of coffee to see if the fumes clear me up some. And this isn't the last granddaughter, but it's the youngest. She's four. Then I have the 18 year old left. I need to get in training to shop with her, she's a k i l l e r.

I'm buying her clothes and dinner, she's into it. The problem is, she goes from one end of the mall to the other, checks out each clothing store, then decides what she wants, which is usually at the first store from two hours ago. Feet hurt, back hurts.

She's still claiming I tried to drown her Labor Day, which is nonsense. I only held her face under water in the kiddie pool for a few seconds.

She's pretty conservative as far as clothes go EXCEPT she likes the scoop necks and this girl is probably at least a D or better. There's always a large amount of cleavage. I wish she'd wait a couple more years, but then I'm her grandmother, so...
