Anyone else get the following in your tracking number email?

I have my first woot items from my first Bandolier of Carrots on their way to me now! Sux that I have to wait 10 more days though...

I can't wait to see what I get!

Looks like it takes smart post 3 shipping days to get stuff from woot to me (I'm in Austin) not too shabby! I haven't received my bag of craps yet, but another item I picked up in the woot off (that shipped 2 days before the bag of craps) should be here on Monday, looks like it arrived in Austin today...

Smartposts always take < 24 Hrs. to reach me. I am sure a lot of others also have theirs they are just not in a hurry to post it.
Keep in mind that the packages are not sent from WOOT but picked up there. They then go to Dallas and are sent from Dallas.


Clearly the date is wrong in the photos. The camara must have midnight and noon incorrect.

A little background on that...

The toilet wasn't broken when it shipped, but it arrived in pieces.

That was partially washed by the fact the anvil was in pieces when shipped, but it arrived in one piece.

Having said that, it will now be diverted to Tampa, FL then on to LA, CA, maybe somewhere outside of NYC, then finally back to New Berlin.

*sigh* I hate getting tracking info to only be told by fedex that "Sorry, no parcels matched your tracking numbers. Please verify the entered tracking numbers and customer id are correct."

And entering the tracking # in at USPS comes back w/ "There is no record of this item."

Good times.

How accurate is the expected delivery date? Mine is scheduled for 09/15.

Try the US post office...that's the method of shipment

they all seem to be scheduled for 9/15. if i remember, the last woot i had delivered arrived a day or two early (i'm in DC).

Mine is scheduled for the 17th. And the US Post office is NOT the method of shipment. Fedex just drops your package there for the last leg. I highly doubt the tracking codes will give you anything except an error at the post office website.

Bandolier of Carrots is in martinsville West virginia. Couple more states to goto Jersey

Yeah the USPS says no package found. If I can't find a shipping number, does that mean it hasn't shipped yet, or just not on the site, because alot of peoples packages are getting near the northeast I wonder if mind might be there too

The interesting thing is, if you put your tracking number in google it detects it as a tracking code for the USPS. The link that woot has goes to track it via fedex. If you disect it a little bit the link that was sent to track it has the "Customer ID" and the Tracking # in the URL. So you can manually try to track it using fedex's smartpost tracking page http://spportal.fedex.com/sp/track. Mine fails and says the tracking number or the customer ID is wrong. When I look back at my last smartpost from woot the customer ID number is the same.

Also, I can take my old tracking number from that smartpost shipment and track @ USPS, it works and shows it delivered.

So I sort of hope that my tracking number was typed wrong and I hope at the same time it wasn't so I can actually track it.

mine got to Atlanta on Saturday and they say that it will take 8 more days for it to go 450 miles to my house. i hope that the eta is wrong

I hope that's true. Mine still says an ETA of 9/13/07. I'm in Scottsdale, Arizona and late Sunday night tracking says it's in Phoenix (Right next to Scottsdale)...

Yeah, mine arrived in Martinsburg, WV (closest hub to DC) yesterday around 7pm...I can't imagine that it's going to take 5 days to get from there to here.

Don't be surprised if it does take that long. I ordered a shirt from shirt.woot sent smrt post and it has been in Charlotte (2hrs from me) since Aug 30th. I just sent woot an email asking about it and they are sending out a new one as soon as they can print it. I tried calling fedex and all they could tell me was my package was at the sorting station, I sure hope this doesn't happen with my crap!

Here's one for you guys. I live in Denver, CO and look at the route they take to ship it (Dallas to LA?). Woot is right, this really is the crappiest shipping method available. :-)

Mine too. I heard it takes like 5 days to get to Stevens Point But at least it made it to WI!!!

Does anyone know what this means? I got my tracking number, etc. and when I click to see where my Bandolier of Carrots is, it says: Sorry, no parcels matched your tracking numbers. Please verify the entered tracking numbers and customer id are correct.

Any ideas?

I just find it strange that it went to WI, when I live in Southwestern Ohio. The SpartPost map from FedEx shows Columbus, OH as a facility.

~90 miles vs ~390 miles.....hmmmmm.....SMART!

I'm actually in Atlanta and I've still had stuff sit at the sortation location a week before they finally put it on a truck to the local post office. So, I imagine most of the wait people go though isn't actual travel time.
