My Bandolier of Carrots was delivered bya Ninja post man this morning. The tracking info said a message was left, then the package was delivered. Nothing was there. I worked on my computer, and was about to leave for work and what do I see? A Netgear box on my porch. Never heard anyone come onto the porch. Ninja Postmen for the win.

1 Red & Black backpack
1 Orange lighted USB cable, to go with the 12 I already have.
1 Thomas Jefferson with Lightsaber mis-print t-shirt
1 Junior Executive Attache Case
Very much worth the $3.00 plus shipping.

Thank You woot.

hurah for smartpost being so crappy...even with predicting delivery dates.

nothing that useful or great, but that's why it's called crap.

-black/red "country of origin: china" backpack
-1 XL screaming monkey woot tee, similar to the one found here: http://www.woot.com/Images/Sale/monkeytee-detail.jpg
but with just the monkey and various stains and what looks like a misprint in greyscale on the back.
-2 very cheap and plain masquerade masks, one blue, one pink, no elastic attachment either
-1 kyocera handsfree bluetooth car kit (txckt10083)

Mine arrived today. I only ordered one crap as I was worried about it selling out while trying to up the quantity. I got the red and black backpack that is pictured previously and a Palm Zire 31. The box suggests it is refurbished, but it looks to me to be just plain furbished.

After charging it for a while it powered up but the screen went wonky after a few seconds. A soft reset brought it back to life briefly. This happened a few times and now it is totally dead. Hard resets do nothing.

Initially I thought I got the best crap ever (for me) but now it seems I got the worst crap ever.

1x Roomba
1x Weird little jigsaw puzzle thing
1x Woot Shirt.

The roomba looks neat, never really considered getting one before, because I leave too much crap laying around. Maybe I'll try to keep a cleaner apartment with it. =)

Yes, some of you may have gotten a Treo, or a Roomba, or a Zune... but I've got you all beat: one of my craps is a device to make HUNDREDS of BOCs! And it works - I've already made two Blinged Out Cabbages today. It will actually be handy for pet messes.

The take:

1 obligatory black/red backpack
1 obligatory shirt: Woot! Screaming Monkey, without the monkey, size L
1 Rat Fink air freshener
1 battery powered Shark Powered Scooper
44 Bags of air from Texas
1 silica gel packet

I heart you Woot! I heart you with many many bags of texas air.

This guy is sure to vomit up some crap I can bag...

...and she will provide *actual* crap to bag

And here is a closeup of my anytime, do-it-yourself Bandolier of Carrots generator

Well that was fun. Thanks Woot!

looks like 'most' of a universal charger. the key part (where you'd put the battery then connect one of the many 'arms' you have there) is missing. i may be wrong but that's what it looks like to me. nice haul otherwise..

Got my Barrell `o Carcus on Thursday:

1 x Backpack
1 x Green Woot shirt (butt style)
1 x Dragon's Lair 3D Singe Dragon

AND...for those of you who got a lowly Palm 600, I apologize....

1x HP iPaq hw6510 Smartphone refurb (rox0rz!)! Looks perfect...no scratches, powers up and took a full charge. It is Cingular branded and needs a SIM card which my carrier doesn't use. Oh well....eBay here I come!

I wanted a digital picture frame, but this was a sweet haul for my third Bitchin' old Corvair.

Thanks Woot!!!

First and foremost....

WOOOOOHOOOOOOOO My first ever Bandolier of Carrots, I really can't tell you how happy I am.

So, my box arrived on Saturday and I ran outside and went in as fast as I could to see what I got. I was mildly disappointed when I noticed it wasn't the TV lulz, but who cares....where's mah crap?

So, I went inside and when I went to open it I noticed the box was open already on one side. The open side had a green shirt half taped to it and half hanging out. I opened it the rest of the way and I started with the shirt. It was a screaming monkey shirt that was printed inside out, but from being hung out of the box it seems like a massive chunk was taken out of the front and back in the middle.

I reached in and removed the obligatory red and black backpack (thank you WOOT!) it will definitely come in handy on trips, I also like the donation idea and might go that route as well.

Of course I can't complain because I love the idea of getting my first Bandolier of Carrots, it just sucks that the shirt got mauled by the smartpost transport choices. Personally I don't think the L would fit me in a LONG time but my wife would love to be wearing that to bed.

So in summary:
1. 14x10x3 official WOOT box.
2. Red and Black backpack.
3. green screaming monkey t-shirt with official smartpost bite hole.

Looking forward to lots more BOCs in the future.

Ok..this is my first ever Bandolier of Carrots...and I'm very, very pleased....however, after seeing that about 8 out of 10 posters here got a Zune or Roomba or DVD player or USB frame, I'm even more convinced that one of the Fed Ex guys or my mailman swiped something in my Bandolier of Carrots box....you'll see why as you scroll down....

My loot from Woot!:
(1) Red/Black backpack
(1) LG Rat Rod Tshirt (I love brown/blue - it's one of the reasons I bought the Decomposition shirt last night)
(1) Bluegears b-Powerstick emergency Power adapter for cell phones/mp3 players/etc. (almost complete set)
(1) Very, very old (so old it smells old) three pack of nature puzzles (est circa 1960)

Here's my box:

And here's the bottom of the box.....hmmmmm......no tape...just the bottom folded in on each other with the shirt poofing out...

Here's the loot:

You know, when an item consists of more than, say, 3 pieces, I would expect something to be missing...especially when we're talking about a Blinged Out Cabbage item....so it was not surprising something was missing in this many piece set...see if you can tell....here's the package:

And here's what I got:

Yup...the b-Powerstick....but I did score a fresh-ish AA battery that I'm sure I'll use for something...amazingly it included all 11 connectors....although...on the contents list, it doesn't say the powerstick is included...so maybe I did get the complete set....

Oh..to the other guy that got this: these attachments fit in the powerstick....they included about every type of connector out there....and the light was just an additional connector...which would have been handy...

Moving on....here is the puzzle set....it must have been taken out of an abandoned gift shop....it really smells musty...I LOVE it!!!

One last thing....I remember my flying monkeys shipping label had something funny abbreviated on it....this is what was on this box:

Again....I am very happy with my haul....hopefully it won't take me a year and a half to get another one...

My first crap experience and boy is it crap-a-licious! I scored 4 pieces of crap and that's not including the box or the air pillows! I must have been a very crappy girl this year to have been smiled upon so favorably by the Woot gods. I received:

2XL funky monkey screaming after a banana T-shirt
Booda glass coffee maker w/ gold filter (retails for $30+)
obligatory red backpack
AND...........
An Andre the Giant action figure!!!! Complete with Andre's vital statistics (that dude had 11 inch wrists, a 24 inch neck and was 500lbs of gigantic wrestling fun)

Thanks WOOT!

Well actually it was a slow learning process I think. The more people responded to me with actual rebutals, the more I understood: I bought an item called "Random Crap" and I received "Random Crap". It was worth more than I paid for it and I also came to understand that due to the "randomness" some people get good crap and some get bad crap. Fellow Wooters, Invisiblemoose and ecolarossi helped me come to terms with my insanity.

Random Crap is how we advertise this item. Most people call it a Bandolier of Carrots (Bog of Crap). So gathered a picture of a paper bag and placed a question mark on it because the items are random.

Hello! I bought one (dang!) Box of Cauliflower during the last Woot Off.
It showed up fine, no complaints. But I did have one question: What's the story with the brown bag that has a yellow question mark painted on it? No one on the forum seems to know. I realize it has many potential uses, including carrying my lunch to work, but I'm curious about it's INTENDED purpose. From the Woot perspective. Why did we get these bags?
