Guess most teams are scrambling due to short term contacts signed last year due to the lock out. The Panthers cut John Kasay this last summer. The last original Panther. He won more games for us and took us to the Super Bowl. He was picked up by the Saints and kicked the winning field goal in the last 30 seconds to beat us this season. Of course, the Saints kicked our butt the last game of the season.

Now we are looking at these guys going elsewhere:
Dan Conner, DeAngelo Williams, James Anderson, Jon Beason, Thomas Davis and Jeremy Shockey. Beason and Davis were hurt at the start of the season, one reason we had no defense.

Anyway, lost my train of thought. Would hate to lose half the guys on the list. Don't like change. Of course, if Rivera had listened to me while I yelled at the TV this season, we would have made it to the playoffs, if not the Super Bowl..

Nah, we weren't making it with last year's squad. I blew my own mind when I turned out to be correct when I told a co-worker who likes to give me a hard time about the Panthers that we'd win 6 this year, and we did. I don't know what we're getting this year but hope Uncle Jerry will spend some money this year or Cam will want to leave when his contract is up.
