Thanks for using the term "slight non-conformist" rather than "village indigenous pigeon."

The ideas came fast and furious for me last night, and I hope to have time to create all of the mediocre ideas that came to me.

If I can't do quality, I'll dazzle 'em with quantity this week.

probably will make the farthest back portions a lighter grey. may add gloves in front, and turn off the water in that hose.

thoughts? suggestions? should I lose the heather and make it asphalt?

OK, I can wait until morning- I have to get some sleep.

I love the concept, the outlines, and the yellow reflective look. But yes, the water needs to go, since it looks like the little firemen are putting the big fireman's eye out. I'd almost continue the axe theme to a complete single-color circle of axes behind the graphics. But I like.

I also really like the reflective look of the fireman. But I think I'd get rid of the axes and maybe just have one axe that the fireman is holding into, but he could be leaning it on the ground and holding on to the handle end maybe? Like where a cane would be placed if that makes any sense. And I agree that the water needs to go, I couldn't really tell that that was water because to me it looks like a solid black line. I think this is a good idea overall and your big fireman looks great.

EDIT: Oh I just saw your redo in the other thread, lookin good. You could still put in an axe that he's holding the handle of if you wanted an axe in there.

I've redone it again.

just seemed like there ought to be a manhole there in the foreground to counter the fireman. I also felt that the lone fireman could use some company behind him.

How big ought the manhole be? that one seems a little small.

Although, 'Lone Fireman' is a pretty good submission name.

I think the size looks ok but maybe flatten it out just a little more.

agreed, proportionally wise it looks off. Good work so far Dr. J, you too Dr. Tek!

Well can I get some constructive critism? Don't have a great idea for this one, but I am tired of sitting on the side lines...

thanks.

Is that tiny elvis painting on the shirt?

seriously, uh, it's certainly different. :^)

the color of the ropes merges probably too much with the paint color.
the ties on the ropes are a bit disturbing. I get an urge to reach up there and untie one of them.

didn't some window washers just plummet a bunch of stories, and one of them survived?

Hmm, that's true maybe lighten the rope color, or darken it? And from now on I am calling you Evil Dr. J. That was the only way I can think of putting it on the shirt without getting rejected. I wish I can have it coming from the collar.

I like it a lot, the shirt color and the statue color are great, and I like the dripping, but what is the guy holding? It looks like he took off a piece of her arm. If he's painting, maybe give him something more of a paintbrush shape to hold? Or a spray paint can with a little spray coming out of it (but not actually reaching the statue)? just my thoughts.

I think we're far enough away from that window washing incident to worry about that, it was a terrible thing but I don't think there would be an outcry about that. And maybe just remove the ties and leave straight lines.

Actually I would like the dripping statue alone without the guy too, but I don't know if it would fit the theme. I need to quit commenting on others' designs and come up with my own idea. ha ha

I put a spray paint can in his hand and it looked weird, agreed on the string, i'll risk it and go with it coming from the collar, maybe use paint instead of spray, thanks!

"the community of Internet Shoppers"

I expect it will not last, as it violates the first rule of the shirt derby: "you will not enter woot-themed puckers in the shirt derby."

I like the olympics-themed one, and the US flag, the best.

I can't dazzle with excellence, but I make up for it with volume this week.

And I like your firefighter. I have a firend who is a firefighter and he probably would wear one, so I voted for it. Sadly, tkenney9226 has not bought a woot so he can not vote for it, otherwise I bet he'd do it, too!

For goodness sake man, you enter shirts, you need to buy one on each account to vote!

OK, I'll vote for one pucker.
You know, you have had a few shirts I would buy if it wasn't the pucker.
Then again, I am not the cool demographic, so don't change for me.

Ha! I'm not the cool demographic, either. I suspect that even if tkenney9226, kenney9227, and kenney9228 bought shirts, that wouldn't put me over the top. Perhaps one day before derby 389 (which we all know I will win because I proved it by bringing my winning entry back from the future in the "time travel" derby) I'll strike a resonant note with one of my entries.

But I think that if I had a craker-jack entry, people'd shy away from it because of the kenney9226 name.

Whatever happens, I know I am enjoying myself. And that's fun.

Thank you for your consideration. I see each vote as an actual "I WANT ONE," and knowng that nine others like this shirt makes me one happy dude.

Actually, I just saw that James Cho submitted an entry after mine, and before I could type in my own entry and sig stuff, he had 7 votes. Must have 7 registered woot accounts. But damn, that guy can certainly make a awesome-looking shirt, that I can't help but vote for it myself!
