Yeah, he is, and he says it so much better than I could.

Well, another day has passed and I didn't use algebra once.

The bad part is, 53% of America will recognize that it is satire, and the other 47% will be nodding their heads and screaming at the TV: "I knew he was a crack dealer!" The rhetoric recently sounds like it ought to be part of a comedy sketch, but is, sadly, being delivered by people who actually expect people to believe it, and the crowds are all swallowing it.

I'm up at 5:30 every weekday anyway, but today is so I can be ready to take my father out to breakfast. (Meeting my sister and b-i-l at the restaurant)

I suppose you'll be wanting a take-out order of pecan pancakes will you?

A crack dealer, a Muslim, a Terrorist, a non US citizen, a socialist ect... I realize that I haven't seen a lot of elections, but this doesn't seem normal to me. Are they always like this?

Every election has mud-slinging. We always wish they wouldn't, but they always do.

So, KT, how'd the first day at the new job go? Manager nervous that you're gunning for their job yet?

And that employee discount?

I am not used to standing for so long. Takes a toll on your back and feet. The Manager likes me, which is helpful. Lots of curmudgeonly people working nowadays.

20% for certain days, 10% for other days. I spent $75 tonight.

Still working at the design studio, but now for less hours. The owner had to cut my hours down because of the economy & the affect it is having on her business. And as we all know, Real Estate isn't really moving. So...I took a PT Seasonal job at a retail chain (home furnishing related) in our area. In January or in the spring, I will pick up another PT design client, I hope. But for now, the discount is dangerous. And it is weird being out in the jungle again.

Heh. They have a lot of good stuff.

The discount helps because my sister is able to get some decent gifts for between $5-15 for her kids' teachers, aids, trainers, etc... (My niece and nephew are on the Autistic spectrum so they have a lot of assistants helping out at school and at extra-curricular activities.)

Yeah, I probably spent $300 between all of the various affiliates this weekend.

So, we have mousetraps set in the garage & basement. My petite cat named "Sweetie" must have heard a trap go off...or the trap must have fallen to the ground or something. She dragged the mouse AND the trap to my studio area and let the mouse loose! She'd catch it...and then let it go...then catch it again...let it go. She has no concept that mice are potential food. I think she thinks it is just like her toys, but faster...which is aggrevating when you are trying to get it from her and it is still alive.

And my big cat which I call "Baby" or "Spooky" has no interest in mice at all.

At least she keeps catching it. Imaging how you would sleep tonight if she didn't catch it one time.

Anyone know what the Holiday stamps look like this year? I hope they are better than those awful cross-stitch ones from last year.

Oh, no...it is still around...somewhere...uncaught...my fear is waking up and stepping on a dead mouse. (I don't turn on lights when I get up.)

Yes Ma'am. 'Cept this time, I'm just carving his name and the date into a piece of sandstone that will sit flush with the ground above his resting spot.

I'll make sure to keep it trimmed.

(It's a little shiny because I just sprayed it with acrylic and it hadn't dried by the time I took the pic)
