These will run on 5 volts .. should be no problem to cut off the usb and find 2 wires to hook , either way to a battery or AC adapter.

You can actually just cut the computer out of the equation and plug this directly into an ipod wall charger brick. Then you have a portable massager. Of course that begs the question: why not just buy a portable massager? this item has novelty value only, but it would make a good stocking stuffer if the smartpost gets here by 7 weeks from now (which is frankly a crap shoot)
