Mine showed up today.

I got a 2 gig. It has firmware 1.01.05P. It's recognized by Windows media player 11 on Win XP and syncs just fine.

The FM tuner is very touchy, sometimes staticy, but I don't expect to use the radio much at all. I'll glady trade off the radio for the extra 1GB. MP3s sound great.

Now I'm almost wishing I'd bought 2.

I also received my 2, only what I ordered though, the 1 Gig versions. Still i'm happy I got them, and did not realise they were as small as a zippo lighter. Nice & light.

Got mine yesterday, only a 1gig version...it also doesn't seem to charge correctly - I left it plugged in all night...the graphic showed that it was charging, and then I took it off this morning and it read as low battery still?

I'm going to fiddle with it some more, but I really wish it had come with instructions..

Got mine yesterday, just opened it and its a 2GB confirmed in wmp.

It came with 5 songs on it, all from diff bands:

1. Alias & Ehren
2. Heavyweight Dub Champion
3. Jones Gang
4. Red Thread
5. The Shanghai Restoration Project

did everyone get the same songs?

The chrome "R E F U R B" on the back is cool too.

You did not say if the basis unit is operating. My worked out of the box with no software.
Sandisk tech support has been very helpful.

Thank you! I was just wondering where I would get the media conversion software since it seems these woots are coming CD-less. I was having no luck searching for it.

If anyone is still looking for the manual it is here:

That and the Media converter software should be the main contents of the CD.

Now... Smart-<cough>-Post says mine (3) will be here Tuesday. 1gig, 2gig, webcams, or just packaging?? Oh, the suspense...

Yup! That's exactly what mine has on it. Guess if I'd known we were going to get the 2gb version, I wouldn't have bought an extra microSD card. Oh well, I'll use it for something :~}

I have been using Ipod with Itunes so I am used to "instant" sync. I love my new sandisk too but the sync took approx 1/2 hour on Rhapsody. Is this normal?

I then looked at Windows Media Player 11. Love this and prefer this to Rhapsody but it is only showing my podcasts. My music is on itunes and I do not see how to import it.
My Rhapsody player imported my music easily.
How do I get my music on both itunes and WMPlayer?

As another user pointed out, the way to go is eBay. We don't really do returns for products you don't like or don't want to use, as stated in our FAQ. Chances are you'd make a profit selling them off anyway.

Mine is broken now I used it for 2 days and it broke, *The 2 gig one*
I still didnt upack the 1gig. But the 2 is giving me some sort of error when I load it and it wont turn off:
Load main image fail
Switch to recovery
Please connect USB (Than I connect the USN and than:
Mini -B->Device Mode
USB2.0 MSD

Wth is all of that supposed to mean? Is there a way to fix it?

Mine STILL hasn't gotten here yet. There's no rhyme or reason about the SmartPost shipments. I used to get Woot packages in 2-3 days. With SmartPost, it's anyone's guess. I still can't fathom why a package going from TX to TN has to go to WI for processing/shipment?!?!?

I recieved mine on Saturday. It was originally planned to be a christmas present for my husbands daughter, but now, its mine. Its cute and dinky and is easier to sync than our other mp3player. So, just going to throw a 20$ in his daughter's present, and not worry about getting her another gift..hehe.

Something tells me that the SmartPost tracking isn't worth much. Mine shows that my package was in Orlando and Atlanta on the same days.

life's not fair! you paid for (3) 1gb and recieved exactly what you paid for. Some of us didn't get the # we ordered and some didn't get any at all. I'd say you made out pretty good.

Your perspective on this is royally screwed. We SHOULD get what we PAID for. We shouldn't consider ourselves "lucky" because Woot did what it was SUPPOSED TO DO.

Do you get that concept? Of getting what you paid for?

It is completely unfair that when I clicked on the same button that everyone else did to buy a specific product that others received a superior product. I think my outrage over this is entirely warranted.

I just received the shipment today. I don't have any problem with Woot using SmartPost just as long as they specify the method up front, which they do. I know that when I buy a product that ships via SmartPost that it is just like Media Mail for books: it's going to take a long time to get here. You get what you pay for, right?

It is becoming painfully apparent to many of us that Woot cannot effectively manage itself. They sell more product than they can properly service in a timely manner. Let's face it, when a company starts sending empty or incomplete packages, it's got a big problem that flows from the top down.

For anyone who's having trouble mounting the c240 as an ordinary USB storage device, I found this trick on the sansa forums:

Turn on Hold, and then hold down the Prev button (|<<) while plugging in the USB cable. This will force the device to mount as MSC rather than MTP, which will allow you to drag-and-drop rather than using WiMP.

Ordered two, got both today, both are 1GB models, and both are broken! Only sound in the right channel on one, the other one has muted/low voice sounds unless you jiggle the cord. I tested the headphones on other players and they are fine, also tested known working headphones on both units and get the same results, lame.

This SmartPost stuff is really jacked up. I ordered the trains on the 17th, these on the 22nd, and the bluetooth headset on the 24th.
Trains got here on the 28th, and the sandisks had the same info in the tracking, but didn't arrive. The bluetooth arrived on the 1st.
Still haven't recieved the sandisk players and I only live about four hours away. The tracking has said they are in my city for five days now?

How about a bit more info? Why did I get a damaged box and just a bag of air? Are you planning on sending out replacements to all of us who got nothing.

A few more days and I think I need to dispute the charges with my CC Comapny.
