The fan on my computer is turning on a lot. I think I'll shut down for a while. As soon as Norton quits running.

Well, another day has passed and I didn't use algebra once.

I couldn't tell you for sure, but I don't think that's ever going to be a problem.

Mine does this weird thing- if it blue screens, when I hold down the power button to reboot, the fan ramps up to max speed before it shuts off. Goofy Dell also does this weird up and down fan thing. I should just replace the fan.

soooo guess who's been called in to work a shift at 4:30 AM tomorrow, when he was already scheduled to work at 4:30 PM? when it's supposed to snow potentially 4 inches in the afternoon/evening? oh yeah, double shift. at least i'm going to get off early for the early shift, and go in late for the late shift now... too bad I only get overtime if I work more than 80 hours in a 2 week period...

g'nite!

Evening Peoples.

Son made .

He can actually make them all on his own now with no help, including opening and straining the blueberries. He even cleans up...after you call him back downstairs to remind him.

Awesome! Family went to the Zoo (Philly)- it was almost empty so we got to get up close and personal with the Amur tigers and I even parlayed my faculty job as a biologist (with some begging) and got to go help feed the lemurs (kinda- got to put a bucket into the enclosure and chatted up one of the keepers)! My oldest loved the otters (they followed his hand on the glass so he spent the whole time running back and forth!

Otters were always my fav at the Seattle Aquarium. They're so darn cute.

Sounds like a fun day. Mine was boring. Hairs cut (and son's), took his car to the shop (cracked radiator), eat at Red Robin, Walmart, home, bank, ordered new glasses, home, nap, TV, now here.

What kind of burger did you get? Mmmmmmm.

Terayki Chicken Burger. Love them.

Yeah, coolant kept disappearing. His dad tried the stuff you pour in that will hopefully seal any problems.... it didn't. So he arranged to get it fixed, we just dropped it off.

Made son lead us there using the GPS. We toured a couple neighborhoods when he made wrong turns. SIgh.

Getting lost using a GPS? I can do that without one...

Never ate at a Red Robin (not around here), but I think they're like Johnny Rockets, right?

Scenic route, huh?

I love their mushroom Swiss burgers. More mushrooms than I've ever seen on a burger anywhere else. Only problem, I only go there in the summer when I can sit outside. Inside is super noisy and the service is unbelievably bad.

We usually have pretty good service. Today's was great even though it was a crowded late lunch crowd.

He said he thought the GPS might just give up on him because it was having to recalculate the route so much.

Husband and one son always get the Whiskey River BBQ burger. Their milkshakes are fantastic. They come in the old fashioned silver container. Makes about two big glasses full.
