Yep, everyone told me that. Doc said it might take me a bit longer because of the strabismus thingy. So far, I think I can do it. That improved depth perception is something though.

I have a friend who has trifocals with lines and she had no problem.

Well, another day has passed and I didn't use algebra once.

I have to be here. I mean I have to be at work! I'm avoiding a project that I don't want to do.

Thanks, KtC. You don't sound quite like the reviews on Amazon for it. Is yours four inches?

ummm well, that's kinda a personal question, but umm no the foam on my bed is not four inches I think it is 2.5. We got it on a deal a while ago, but I couldn't get the same side deal to come up, so I wasn't sure on the specks on yours.

Hi Zea! Daughter got her report card. Little stinker make an A in social studies, B's in math and computer, a C in science and a D in Language Arts. She brought the language arts up 5 or 6 points from last 6 weeks. Oh and a D in PE. She didn't dress out. They were playing basketball and I don't think she plays well. I don't play BB. I assigned husband to take her to the gym and play BB with her.

I had the PE thing pegged. It's hard when they don't like sports. Son hated PE. He'd dress out and participate but at that age, you get teased if you aren't good.

Great news on the other grades!

Thats good news! Seems like the new class is working for her. I wish that PE would allow the kids to do a different activity if they didn't want to dress out that day. I think writing a research paper on the dreaded activity during class would increase the kids willingness to dress out!

My oldest son had to miss out on a choir competition that he had a solo in because he was failing PE during that 3 week period. Made me so mad! It was the last competition of his senior year. The coach never bothered to alert son or the Choir director that their was a problem. And it was also because he wasn't dressing out enough.

I heard that some of the PE classes are getting rid of the team activities and focusing on individual movement. So there isn't the competition stress and everyone gets some physical activity. Still its great DH is taking her to the gym to play, I love playing BB with my dad, and I never did get very good at it.

PE teacher that daughter just loved had a baby during the last 6 weeks. So she has a new teacher. I bet that had something to do with the no dressing out. I had known old teacher for years and she had known daughter since she was little so she had daughter's number! New teacher probably believed daughter when she told him/her that she had a headache. Correct answer would have been, "Go dress out, it will help your headache to exercise." I am a mean Mom!

I think I would have complained. I bet the other teachers notified him/her when one of his prize football players were failing!

Didn't do any good. Found out the day before the competition. I'm sure the choir director had a few words with the coach as well. They had been rehearsing for weeks. Plus that is a lot of pressure on the guy who was the backup soloist to jump in at the last minute. What really sucked was that we knew he was struggling in math and had been concentrating all our efforts on bringing that grade up.

It would just be a new entry on your calendar. Just an update from the last time you were sick to the next time you are sick which then becomes the last time you were sick.

I don't mind pampering when it means more bacon, or lasagna, or sausage, or donuts, or other delicious treats.
