NO kidding! We have pretty good cloud cover too. Only get little glimpses and can't really see the red. Took both girls and Orc outside, but we couldn't see much. Oldest girl is in bed now.

we got good looks at it here. very red, very cool. Reminds me of Halloween :^)
Also saw Saturn down below the moon and to the left. Apparently if you had a telescope, you could see the rings. we don't have one.

He doesn't understand that dads was just a cardboard tube with mirrors in it. You pointed at what you wanted to see and it was there.
The real telescope needs to be set up and has computer programs and all sorts of crap I have no interest in.
He needs to sell it.
I saw the rings once when I was a kid. One night we found Jupitner and saw a few moons too.
Mostly we looked at the moon.

sometimes the simple ones are better.
