My dad made me drive in extremely low vis fog and spin cookies on the snow in my truck before he'd let me drive. I also took winter driver's ed. All those sound like very good reasons.

We got no snow in my lil town. Just rain and a drop in temperature. I was watching the news and the State set up a command center here. What a way to make the news. No one ever hears about us and we have a command center for bad weather and snow.
It snowed everywhere else but here.

So, there I am, sound asleep on the couch and my cell rings. It was Poof. Last night, I sent her a text message because I am in that habit with my nieces right now. I didn't think about the fact that she probably doesn't text until after I hit the send button. :/

Forgive me now for being vague and fuzzy...

Her Mom either is out of the ICU or should be out tomorrow (that was the first thing she told me and I really can't get my head around which it was). It looks like about 3 weeks in a rehab unit are the next step. So, things are better, but still not great. Please continue to keep them in your prayers if that is something you do. If not, think happy thoughts and best wishes for her Mom's recovery.
