At least at my IHop, the senior special starts at 55, that I can handle. Not 62!!!!

They didn't figure out that it was tall and they could climb.
It still isn't a big space. Little less than 2 foot by 4 foot. The only other size was 4 by 4 and that was too big for the house. I'm sure they could have figured out a way to use it!

I'm still waiting for them to realize there is a whole other level in the cage.
They just ignore it.
Now I cover the bottom with some open napkins, then in the morning I roll them up with all the poopies that fell down there, and flush them. But a open napkin would never stay in the same spot if they went down there.

There is a 20 gallon long fish tank with a wire cage that fits over it.
In the store they were in a fish tank, so you would think they would be more comfortable there.
Nope.
They went down the first day and never again.
Splinter did all his pooping down there, so this poop falling out of the cage wasn't an issue.
Then again, he was in the tank till he was about 6 months old and I saw it was getting too small and ordered the topper, which more than doubled his space.

I tried the pea thing with Splinter, he wouldn't even touch the water. Will try it again when I find the dog bowl I was using.

I might someday let them loose in the bathroom, if I can be sure the radiator is totally blocked off.

These guys don't seem to pee to mark where they are going. I wonder why? Thought that was a male trait.
They haven't tried to chew anything either, except one bit my eyeglasses. Sort of like , what is the most expensive, small thing I can bite?
