It's spring break. I'm not enlightening anyone this week. Actually, I'm just doing manly things about the house. Finally had to fork over $300 for a plumber to come over and snake the house drain to clear the kitchen clog. Worked, so we've got clean pipes. Yay!

Well, it wasn't the main per se, but the drain just before it got to the washer/dryer. My snake wasn't big enough to clear the clog, but the Rooter's large motorized contraption obliterated anything in its path. Plus, he let that bad boy out the max 75 feet, while I only had 25 feet. Regardless, it's all clean now!

No, the guy was in his 30's, and relatively skinny. Seemed to know what he was doing, and was real quick in doing what needed to be done. Polite and all that.

KT - You'll be pleased to know that, although it does not show up as a recently updated thread, part 2 of the "pucker manifesto" has been updated to my original manifesto page. I aded the update by editing my original post so as to put it out there for the hard core people who need to know, while also not shoving it down the throats of those who don't really care. I wrote a little about the probation.

Really, it's not all that scandalous.

SkekTek, does your Red Cross give you a free T-shirt when you donate blood? Mine is giving out a "Superhero 56" shirt this weekend. I missed last week when they gave out St. Patrick Day clover shirts, and the one this week is pre-grunged AND has wings.

I know I had a few profs I sent some scathing eval forms in for. Too bad it was just before ratemyprof time! I did look up my OB/GYN when I was pregnant and someone had a horrid review that totally did not sound anything like him on the ratings (his only review) I should go back and put a more honest review of him, but I am too lazy to look up the site again. He is the best doctor I have ever had for anything.
