Hi everybody. Drove back from the beach then took daughter horseback riding with her Venture Crew (co-ed boyscout organization). They ran out of horses so I rode in the wagon! Daughter loved it. I thought it was pretty cool also! Lots to do just wanted to say hi.

hi! I've avoided schoolwork all break long, so I'm now thinking I should do all the German workbook pages that are due before our exam tomorrow morning...

on another note, I worked 8.75 hours straight yesterday starting at 2 AM... all not on the original schedule...

my skiing plans fell through, so no, not really. i worked almost 40 hours this week... if i go over 80 in a two-week period, upper management apparently has a talk with my management, but i wasn't scheduled for that much. i also shadowed a director thursday; that was exciting. the video switcher our station uses lists for something in the neighborhood of $1 Million, but we got it at a significant discount because the one we used previously from the same company was so full of bugs they were bringing in engineers from Japan repeatedly to try and make it work, and eventually they had to give up.

Yeah, most places don't like paying overtime so it's often a case of their people talk to your people. That's a pricey switcher.

pricey, but pretty amazing all the features it has and can do... most likely underutilized
