Funny. I came to this thread, wondering if my Woot monkey was broken. The first ones (got 3 of them) that I bought were from the patriotic flag collection.

Tonight I pulled out the tab that says, "PULL TAB", and the monkey screamed. I wondered if it was a one time scream, because, for the life of me, I could not get the damned ape to do that again. So I went to look at the label to see if it had instructions, and in so doing, inadvertently dropped the monkey on my desk. Lo, and behold, the guy screamed again. Just to make sure, I've thrown him at the wall a few times since, and it's all good.

Ok, so problem solved. Grandma is going to love this. Well, if not, she's gettin one anyway. And I'm willing to trade an extra Old Glory woot monkey if someone has a decent trade in mind (but not blue camo, just got one).

Anyone have an idea how many times they will scream until the battery dies? Can the battery be replaced?

Anyone have a red pleather monkey they'd like to sell? The only thing of substance I have to trade is a Phillips Streamium music system from a Bowl of Cereal. Please PM me for details or your price.
