It is nice to live that close, until the kids recognize you at home!
We have two HS teachers that live a few blocks from here.

Actually I realized that the school districts and banks are major employers on our block.
My sister in law just started working for my school district. If they didn't start work at 7:30am it wouldn't be a bad place to work.

How the heck are you here for two years????
I still think of you and zea as new! You started posting together. Both 3 letter names and moms. Took awhile to sort that out.

What is it with this world and ridiculously early morning start times? Last time a checked only 20% of the population is considered morning people.

What are you going to say in a couple weeks, when I hit my wootiversery? I guess if you looked I didn't start posting for a couple months, and didn't find my way to the ebw until last spring.

I don't think Zea's been posting on EBW for two years.

Even if it's tradition, that's a tough check to carry . . . does no one appreciate that the family has grown?

One son offered to buy a pitcher of margaritas. Should have let him, his wife ordered filet mignon.

With tax and tip, $326.

Ouch! I thought it was common courtesy to not order the most expensive thing on the menu at big dinners like that? I felt bad when FIL took us out to dinner last fall and I had to order a more expensive meal because I couldn't have bread or anything with soy (most breads have soy).

Six. As I posted last night, bunch of lousy drunks. j/k It was the booze that did it. Three pitchers of margaritas, five peach margaritas, and two Long Island iced teas.

I suppose the tradition would fade if they were invited to participate in the tab . . . .

Probably. I'm not really complaining, it's a good tradition. Well, maybe I'm complaining about the filet mignon, but it wasn't unexpected.

I don't know, I tend to get quoted with some regularity. Not as much as daj or dname, but still, enough.

I have one sleeping kid, a yard that is a total bog, nice weather for a change, and the last bits of the cold that will not die.

I have one snoozing husband, it's raining, and a cold that's moving out of my head and into a cough.

I was talking to my dad yesterday and he thought I was just getting a cold as bad as my cough is. Honestly that and a general cruddy feeling are all I have left of the cold.

Fortunately, I don't feel bad, but I worry about the cuogh. I have a history of bronchitis and I really, really don't want it to go there.

I don't blame you at all!

Eating a snack is helping me feel some better. Hmmm maybe I don't feel well because I have barely eaten anything in the last 4 or so days. . .. I really need to set a timer or something. I get doing stuff and I don't think about eating. Seriously, one of these days my kids are going to not get fed and I won't even notice.

You wouldn't be able to tell I have by looking at me, unfortunately. My freshman year of college I lost 15 pounds because I ate regularly. The next year I gained a bunch.
