I'd ask how his dad's doing at home, but the last time I asked I got my head bit off.

And I'm done for now.

You really do need to find some west coast people
I moved the post. It seemed you two would be very disappointed if I didn't.

Ohh hardly, but thanks, I did notice.

I suppose, but not having west coast people, I do get to spend some time with my husband at the end of the day.

Goodnight Dname!

Good Morning. Congrats on your shirt doing so well - what are you going to shave if you get printed this time?

Where's Gman? He's usually checked in by now - has he taken another hiatus?

I'm not shaving anything this time. I'm clean at this point. But I'm not counting on winning- I think the Zelda, Duck and Genome are going to be 2-1-3.

Dunno... Maybe Gman is taking the day off?

I'll have the husband log on and vote for the moon guy - I'd buy that shirt in a heart beat.

Ya gotta warn us about those things. Was about to send the D'name posse out to look for you. Guess everyone is busy today, or in training or having mom-day or something. Work is busy for me too today - guess I should get back to it.

He would be easy. I have an address and I might have a phone number, but I didn't realize that when I needed it and it could be gone. Anything good I stored in PMs got deleted randomly.

That was a great interview on the news!

A construction worker buried a Red Sox shirt under the cement in the new Yankee Stadium.
Someone told, and they spent 5 hours sledgehammering the cement until the shirt was found.
The city is considering pressing criminal charges against the construction worker.

OK, that is all normal so far...

The reporter interviewed the construction workers daughter.

Reporter: What do you thing of what you father did?
Daughter: I'm proud of him.
Reporter: But all of New York is mad at him.
Daughter: Screw NY
Reporter: Why?
Daughter: They are just a bunch of stu p i d Yankee fans.

end of interview
You could hear the reporter and cameraman laughing in the background

I hope that kid (she looked HS age) doesn't live in NY!

Morning people. I've only been up for a bit over an hour (this time) and I already want to go back to bed and try again. At least I finally found my glasses and didn't wake the baby in the process. One success. Nice weather is all gone (as was predicted). Hello overcast sky and raindrops.

Raindrops keep fallin' on my head
And just like the guy whose feet are too big for his bed
Nothin' seems to fit
Those raindrops are fallin' on my head, they keep fallin'

So I just did me some talkin' to the sun
And I said I didn't like the way he got things done
Sleepin' on the job
Those raindrops are fallin' on my head, they keep fallin'

But there's one thing I know
The blues they send to meet me won't defeat me
It won't be long till happiness steps up to greet me

Raindrops keep fallin' on my head
But that doesn't mean my eyes will soon be turnin' red
Cryin's not for me
'Cause I'm never gonna stop the rain by complainin'
Because I'm free
Nothin's worryin' me

------ trumpet ------

It won't be long till happiness steps up to greet me

Raindrops keep fallin' on my head
But that doesn't mean my eyes will soon be turnin' red
Cryin's not for me
'Cause I'm never gonna stop the rain by complainin'

In the area, its not. I am doing some national searches, but moving a family is more of an issue. We aren't sure which direction we want to go. Orc found an opening for a one year position teaching English in China (High School level). Going to Asia is something we have always wanted to do (our Mandarin is pretty poor though). We seriously discussed it. Might get more info, might not. So lots of talk, not much in the way of call backs.

Although it isn't etched in stone, once the kids are in grade school, it will be much harder to move.

Ms. KtC,

If it's not too personal a question, have Mr. Orc and you given up on finding work in your respective specialties (college degrees, I mean)?

I hear that a lot. Right now I will be somewhat remorsed to pull oldest from preschool. She just got adjusted and if she doesn't move could stay in that class for over a year. Orc moved several times as a boy. He says it isn't as bad if it isn't during the school year.

Gotta go feed fussy baby, bbl

Sorry, I'm back.
We're going to be pressure washing the deck sometime this spring and putting a weatherproofing/stain on it. Anyone have any suggestions? We're looking at Home Depot's Behr's. I think I'd rather have the semi-transparent than the solid.

I prefer light-colored semi-transparent; dark or solid stains absorb a lot of heat and make the wood uncomfortably warm in the summer.
