Hi all! Quick drive by comment. We used to have pine trees that grew over the driveway. They dropped pine sap all over the car. I'll take bird poo over that anyday! At least the bird poo washes off!

I had my bird feeders pretty squirrel-proofed. Neighbors called them Alcatraz. But the other way to avoid that is to give the squirrels their own feeder. Really helped. Mine was kinda like this. Mine had a larger wooden square part though and didn't have the holes. They had to open the lid on top to get into the feeding area. That kept the stuff from falling on the ground and some other varmits from getting into it.

Yeah, we had mice in the garage for the last two winters.
This year the seed was in metal cans. We will see if it made a difference.

I found an entire feeder of seed on the ground under the bigger feeder. I have no clue who shook it all out. Squirrels I guess.
I scooped it up and put it back in!

If I use something to scratch, what if I make a scratch? Can't have a scratch letting the dye into my brain!
It might ruin it.
Not that anyone would notice.

Do your lymph nodes swell after you dye your hair?

No.
When they prove the cancer/hair dye link.....I would have to think about it.
Whenever I see women with gray hair, that otherwise look youngish, I wonder why.
My cousin doesn't dye her hair.
She would look 10 years younger if she did.

Nah, I was just wondering because I would also get itching/irritation with hair dye, including some very swollen lymph nodes. I had my stylist switch to a lower PPD and it doesn't cause as much of that stuff. And I believe there are boxed colors that also use lower levels of PPD. So, something to think about if the itching ever becomes unbearable or your head swells up and bursts.

Hummmm, but if my head swells up and bursts, I would think the hair would be gone.
Then i can save all sorts of money on dye and hair cuts!

Ok, last rain there was a leak right over my desk at work. What a mess. I've got plastic bags and a trash can ready to put in place when I leave today. (Rain expected tonight.) Crossing my fingers that'll work.

Interesting . . .

—Usage note The spelling blonde is still widely used for the noun that specifies a woman or girl with fair hair: The blonde with the baby in her arms is my anthropology professor. Some people object to this as an unnecessary distinction, preferring blond for all persons: My sister is thinking of becoming a blond for a while. As an adjective, the word is more usually spelled blond in reference to either sex (an energetic blond girl; two blond sons), although the form blonde is occasionally still used of a female: the blonde model and her escort. The spelling blond is almost always used for the adjective describing hair, complexion, etc.: His daughter has blond hair and hazel eyes.
