You DO know about the rule regarding anything that plugs in as a gift to the wife. Diamond pierced earrings don't count as "plugs in".

inspector46 wrote:how is this vacuum compared to the dc14 all floors and the dc14 animal
This is the DC Animal. The only difference is in the attachments, specifically the mini turbo. Great for use on hair and the critter what done it......

inspector46 wrote:why is this one a different color than the other dyson vacuums? The other dc14s are yellow or purple.
Ah, the Dyson color shuffle. Dyson has a set of colors for their models as shown on their web site. Each retailer can have their own color scheme. The DC07 of recent Woot was a light blue ala Costco. This all silver thing could be assembled from parts swaps for the retailers and assembly by some color blind guy. Doubt the hair orbs will notice the color....

Thats for dealing with lazy cats lounging around on the floor. Not only does it deal with todays hair but tomorrows preventative maintenance........

kellikitti wrote:I saw it said "lifetime HEPA" does that mean you send in a card, and Dyson sends you a new filter every month, or is there a filter you pull out and wash?
I've been traumatized by another vac I have with a rinseable HEPA that never works as well after the first time you use it, wash it, and reuse it.
These are washable but take a month from next week to dry. Most get a second, not expensive, and alternate them while play musical washie/dryie. $20 if I remember...

Thanks in Advance!
The shop vac is for sucking up bolts and emptying your pool with a HEPA filter suitable for large birds and neighborhood rodents. Minus the bolts and birds the Dyson does a pretty good job. I'm just trying to imagine my wifes tears of joy if I give her my 16 gal shop vac to drag around the house and I'm not doing well..

BEST Vacuum I have ever had!!! Works great on hard wood floors and carpet. We've lent it out to some friends when their $600 Hoover broke, now they have one too!! It's pretty durable too.. daughter knocked it down the stairs...
I'll get you my pretty! Next Time! And your little dog too!!
