I have yet to receive my 30 random comic books. The shipping tracking number doesn't even work for me. What a disappointment. Is this the start of Woot going down hill. I should slowly distant myself from Woot. It certainly had been great before.

I bet woot doesnt even care that they pissed everyone off. The only people who got this product are the ones who stay up late at night and check the site religiously so offending them wont matter because they are already hooked. I can't believe the outrage... *giggles*, Sorry but you ordered 30 random comics of 28 titles, so you should've KNOWN there'd atleast be a few duplicates, and that they were, well, random... I don't see the duplicates as a sign of laziness, more as a sign of they had to get tens of thousands of comics out the door or else people would stop whining about no tracking numbers yet...

Can't please everyone I guess, especially comic-book fans...

It isn't outrage. I couldn't care less about $8 wasted. It's the way it has been handled. But since you are totally new, you'll be (rightfully) ignored as a corporate yes man. Have fun in that role!

watches in order to get a friggin' response from these people

My tracking number is also invalid and still no comics. I wrote them yesterday and no response. I am one of those people who is up just about every night when the Woot changes. I have no problem with repeat comics, I expect that, I have a problem with NO comics.

I stil have not gotten a Bag of Comics, but that is a totally different disappointment! llo

I typed in Bag of Comics, but it came out "bag of comics". I know it is carp, they altered the post somehow. I jsut wanted that clarified before the comments came in! Love you guys, but I have no doubt you would have jumped on me for the bunch of cabbage misprint! :-)

It definitely could have been handled a bit better. Everyone who ordered 3 could have been boxed in a manner that they received all the comics and a couple duplicates at random. I think that was what most of us were hoping for. I didn't care which comics I received, I bought 60. I would love to have all of them, but I only got 16 unique comics. I posted what I have on World of Woot and the slickdeals thread. If anyone wants to swap I am saving the boxes and have no problem going to the post office. I got three, or six of each of the comics I did get. With my duplicates, I know my girls will have fun using them for art projects and reading. I may garage sale some. Might ship some to the troops next time a local group is sending a box. Lots of ideas.

I just got an email from Paypal saying Woot had refunded my payment. I was in the same position as you; tracking number didn't work, no delivery.

I e-mailed them yesterday but they haven't given me any information. I've only got the refund from paypal that let me know ANYTHING about this order. Oh well.

no comics for me yet either...no response from service ...but oh yea my credit card been charged though....sweet ain't it....I ordered something else after and it's here since last week....I hope they resolve this soon.

Just got a paypal refund from Woot. Apparently I will not be receiving any comics, but based on the majority of these responses I feel like one of the lucky ones.

Yep, that is the message I got today. I just copied and was about to paste when I saw you beat me to it. Clever way to tell us they over-extended on a WOOT that also glitched fromt he beginning! It took me 30 minutes of refreshing nad ordering to NOT get that WOOT! I guess it does not pay to be a comic geek! :-)

I actually got an e-mail from Woot about this. It looks like they ran out of comics on some of the orders (the ones that are being refunded) and are sending out what they can. When I e-mailed them originally I just let them know that the tracking number was invalid and wanted to make sure there were no problems and they were courteous in their response as I was courteous to them in the e-mail. Maybe those of you who got short or curt responses were rude in your e-mail?

I ordered mine at 5 after 12, so I'm a little upset that it don't get filled.

Indeed, I gather that a lot of Wooters received the same email today. No worries, I would prefer to get a refund and be happy with whatever they send out if anything than having a big stack of duplicates. I think this screw up has been handled in the best way possible with regard to the customer.

I'm not so sure if it was handled the best way possible. Granted, the customer service was great. They were kind and I tried to be understanding in response. However, as a first-time wooter. This is really a let down. I feel I tried and tried to get the woot. Got it. And two weeks later I've been given my cash back and shoved out the door. Why offer it in the first place? I can understand there were problems, but loop me in a bit. I feel really uninformed about the whole process and only got answers when I asked. That to me isn't proactive customer service.

After reading through this thread, I'm actually glad that I got a refund and no comics...yikes, what a mess.

Odd thing is that I ordered pretty early, while my roomate ordered just before sellout ("I want one!" button was already bouncing). He got his order, and I didn't!

I went through looking for people to trade with. I saw lots of duplicates of comics I would love to swap for (really what's sticking it in an envelope and a couple stamps to share the love?), but if you listed your city, I figured you didn't want to mail stuff, and if you didn't say trade, I respected your privacy, still I'd love to expand on the variety I have.

My account and email says they sent me my refund two days ago, but my bank account says nope. oh yeah...... I see another saga... Guess my money will return in Smartpost... I can see the two week countdown starting....

I bought the three 10 and luck would have it i got screwed with 10 differnet comics and 3 copies of each!!!!! I mean come on woot PAAAaaaAAaaaanCAAAAAKES!!!!!

Received mine today... I guess "assorted" can have multiple meanings, but I ASSUMED it meant that there would be more than 4 distinct covers in the 30 comics I ordered.

However, the bright side is that they are the MOST buttery croissant titles I've ever seen, so I'm glad there were ONLY 4.
