In my line of work, using the keyboard shortcuts is much quicker than moving you hand to the mouse, moving the mouse, clicking the mouse a few times, then moving your hand back. Its all type and go.

alt + tab or alt + shift + tab are very very very useful.

I too use mostly keyboard shortcuts, but didn't know that one. I do have the "show desktop" button on my quick launch toolbar, but that requires the mouse to use - I like this one much better.

yeah, I hate that. We have had this conversation many times. The only time I do it is when I am asked to look at someone's screen.

Sounds good to me, too. I also take the easy way out (and actually prefer) to just put two slices of toast, each with a piece of cheese, in the toaster oven. No fancy, shmancy, buttered up, fry pan grilled cheese sandwich for me.
