Could be, for someone who doesn't have a tablet yet. Everybody seems to recommend a Wacom brand tablet (or their high-end brand, "Intuos"), but these are a bit cheaper. Not too bad to get your feet wet in the world of tablets. It's a little cheaper at woot than some other places; I've seen it for around $30.

Yep, it's a little closer to drawing with a pencil and paper than the mouse is, so more comfortable for most people. Unfortunately for me, I seem to draw better with a mouse and MS Paint!

Looks like I didn't miss too much while I ran errands (stupid post office).... I think Orc probably wouldn't have minded the tablet, but he can borrow mine most of the time, not that he has.
