Sometimes. Most students are just glad to have gotten the grade they did. The ones that complain are usually the ones near the letter threshold (B- versus C+). I usually add on around 10 points to everyone's point total before calculating the letter grade. That way, if they come back and argue about minor points on assignments (grade fishing), I tell them I gave them 10 points. Usually that stops them from pressing the matter.

I think this year I'm feeling the affects (effects?) of allergies for the first time this year. Not too bad, but enough to be annoying.

It was effective 5 April. Our company's fiscal year runs April 1 - March 31.
