Anybody have any Calgon? I need to be taken away!!!!

Went to pick up kids at m-i-l and found out daughter hadn't done any of her homework. We came home, ate dinner and she's been working on her homework. I just noticed how dirty she was (from playing over at m-i-l's) and told her when she was done she'd have to take a shower. Then the tears and whining started about all she "got to do tonight was homework and take a shower. I won't have any time to plaaaaaay." I don't think my "you should have done homework at m-i-l's instead of playing outside and getting filthy" went over very well because she stomped off down the hallway. Deep breaths....

Just keep repeating to yourself, "just three more weeks" (feel free to substitute the number of weeks until your kids are out of school for the summer)

Yes, but if I had that many, the exam would be multiple choice for sure.

Night...

Is anyone else having trouble with MSNBC? It's frozen up on me a half a dozen times today.

Well, another day has passed and I didn't use algebra once.

I already told you what toaster oven I have. My regular toaster is a DeLonghi. I love it. I looked for a long time before deciding on this one. The reason I picked it is because when it clamps the bread as you lower it, it does it from both sides which centers the bread between the heating elements. Most toasters push the toast from one side which puts one side of the toast much closer to the elements.

I have a Kitchen Aid that cost $100 close to ten years ago (I had been on prednisone for a couple of weeks and that stuff strips away a few layers of common sense). Even that one, the top eighth of the bread doesn't toast as well as the rest.

Mine is an older version of this one. They even say in the description that it centers the bread. It's also wide enough for sliced bagels.

We have a Black and Decker Toaster Oven. We went through about 4 0r 5 of a variety including the DeLonghi, and all of them were annoying in one way or another. Mostly they were flimsy in some way, or poorly designed- One you couldn't remove the bottom tray to clean it.
This one, though, B&D with convection oven, is great! The toasting range is reasonable to adjust, It is set up well, it's easy to use most of all. toasts well, too.

I don't understand this Woot. What's the difference between refurbished and recertified?
And will it go around corners? You have to climb a ladder to put it in your gutters, right? So then don't you have to walk with it to the corners to start the next section? Seems like you might as well clean them out yourself, it'd be easier.

Edit: Okay, just read the website. And this is better than moving the ladder constantly. Husband just climbs the ladder once and walks on the roof to clean the gutters.
