I don't know, but if you click on the pic so that you see the larger pic, you see it next to the hand-held remote. The remote dwarfs it, so I'd say this thing is a couple of inches long at best.

i bought 3 last time and here is my .02

the remote control uses 8 AA batts. Not included, however; at a dollar store you can buy a set for about $1.50.
If you want to use proper battery charge the initinal time takes about 20min. The flight time is about 6min. with the best results at about half charge.
Very fun and if you are careful you can operate in a open room with out any problems. be careful not to bend the wings or bang into stuff or you will have to buy a new set for about 5 bucks each . two of them are long out of commision and i still have one thats in the box. i got my moneys worth alot of FUN

i also bought 3 styrofoam heli's here from woot and i guess i prefer the latter

So I'm in for 2....one for me and one for the kid. Let's see how they are!

I have a similar Mircro helicopter. I paid $12 so still its not a bad woot. I wish if it was 2 for tuesday for that price. Anyway, this heli flies and flies just fine. Not a very precise control as you can get with a multi pitch heli. But still you can have it airbourned and control to go straight, circle and change directions.
Take off at full speed and once its airbourne, reduce the speed by controlling left stick on the remote. fine tune the speed and then use the stick on the right of remote to change directions and keep it flying. Simple. Just make sure to fly it indoor or if you try outdoor - zero wind speed is the key to have a successfull experience.
I have crashed mine for atleast a 100 time but still it flies like a champ. One thing though, after so many crashes it seems like that motor housing inside the body has became loose so my heli now vibrates which doesn't really effect the flying but makes it to start spinning at low speed. Keep an eye out.
Also, if you see that you are near a wall or any object just let go of the controls and this heli would fall on the carpet provided if you have wall-to-wall carpet. I do that and crashes don't effect this helicopter as the body is made of very light plastic.
Hope this helps. Enjoy flying.

I got these from buy.com for $6 after $10 Google checkout(btw..u can sign up as many times as u want. Just need a new CC. I used a paypal virtual CC and it worked everytime) about a week ago and they totally suck! Not work the money. All this thing does is fly around in circles. Theres no way for u to control it in terms of direction wise.
Its a piece of junk!

This guy on eBay is selling one that seems to be the same thing.
The page has more detailed pix and specs than what Woot is giving.

You spend a lot of time being clever, but your cute little stories don't answer my questions, such as:

What is the fly time on a full charge? --- 6 ~ 7 min
What is the charge time? --- 6 ~ 7 min
What are the dimensions? --- not sure about that but i can tell you that its a palm size thing
What level of control do you really have with these? --- you can make it go straight, go in circle, left and right etc.

Thanks . . .

You don't really have very much control at all. To make it go forward, you're supposed to make it spin clockwise, and to make it go back you have to make it spin counter-clockwise. As you can imagine, this makes it nearly impossible to accurately navigate it forward, back, left and right. However, keeping it at the same altitude is pretty easy.

The charge time is about 20 minutes to a half an hour, and flight time is between five and ten minutes.

It's almost completely silent. You'd only have problems with the volume if you were trying to sneak up on somebody or something. I doubt it would wake somebody up, unless you tried to land on their face.

I don't think you can weaponize it or use it to transport any cargo. It's really, really, really fragile and sensitive. Unless your cargo is lighter than a feather, it will totally throw it off.

That said, I'm not so sure that this is worth 10 bucks plus shipping. You can probably find it somewhere else for less. It's a fun novelty, but the lack of control means that you can't really get too much enjoyment out of it.

Yes. You can strap a firecracker or M-80 to the bottom with a fuse long enough to get to its destination and within radio range. Be reminded though, that this would be a suicide mission. I'm in for three. They look like fun.

I have one of these from Woot that we got over a year ago now, and it's still flying. We didn't even get the extra rotors with ours. I wouldn't say it's "silent", it is pretty quiet, but it's not like you could sneak up on someone with it in a quiet office and scare them silly. Now a busy, noisy office, maybe...

It appears to be yet another of these crappy little 2ch helicopters though so the only control you have is up, down, left and right.

I bought two before during a woot off. They fly for about 15 mins before the charge is too low to stay airborne. Charge time is about 30 mins. They are about 6 inches long. Once you get the hang of it, you actually have a lot of control.

Kids dont take care of stuff, they will get banged up pretty fast and in a few days they will likely be damaged beyond flyability. Just be aware that the fun wont last more than a week, if that long.

Last year for Christmas I got one for my BF's son, who is 16. My BF (38) and his dad (60) used it more and totally enjoyed it. Fortunately I got the max I could, and they had little airwars as long as multiple helis were able to fly.

The Wiemeraner (sp?) was not amused.
