Oh well, daughter made an appointment and we will have to get her, go up with her and I bet drive her for a few days. So, it looks like I have to cancel the dog visit because I can't bring him home. I called to see if they could keep him a week or two more, but no answer yet.

Whew, dog foster mom called and someone came this afternoon and took both dogs. I'm glad. They were together their whole lives and were a year old. Slept in the same crate. To bring one home and then for the first week be in an usettled house and going to neighbors and other people on some days, here other days....I could see the poor dog being very depressed. Now he will go with his brother! (or the old lady was lying because she thinks I'm a kook.)

It's for the best. You have a lot going on right now, maybe you will be better suited to getting a dog once the kids are settled at home (or back away at school). There will be another dog.
