Joe Cocker is on Conan.
Somehow he looks less burned out and old than the last time I saw him years ago.
Odd.

Not bad. You may live another day.

Well, another day has passed and I didn't use algebra once.

Good Morning.

eHalc - I laughed at the knock-knock joke (once I figured it out...) The kids have been in a knock-knock joke phase lately and they come up with the STUPIDIST things that don't make a bit of sense but for some reason they think are the funniest things ever.

Knock Knock
Who's there?
House
House Who?
House has a tree out front.

(repeat for any and all objects seen out the window)

I can't drive home fast enough on those days...

Oh, I'm sure he's still high. My question is what was he on?

There are some good videos in the same style for Yellow Ledbetter and some other Pearl Jam songs (and a whole bunch of other songs too)

Dr. J,

If the printer goes on the changing table where are you going to change your diaper?

managed to lose 1 ink cartridge and 1 USB cable between the unboxing of the printer and its location finalizing.

those new ink cartridges that come with the printer only print like 3 pages anyways. Might as well go ahead and buy a new $40 one (so you can print 50 pages before the computer mysteriously says it is dry even though you can still hear the ink in there sploshing around).

Canon's actually print pretty long for their ink. Slogan: "Me print you velly long time"

edit:
anyway, it's the principal of the thing.

Maybe I should get one of those. There was a class-action lawsuit over the exact issue I was complaining about for my last new printer. They didn't ever really fix the issue, they just provided a $25 coupon I never used and a software update that was supposed to help, but didn't. I'll never buy an epson again.

I stopped using my inkjet at home, I just use my old laser printer. Color is just a fad anyway.

I just looked him up on Wikidepia and it didn't say he had any physical problem. Just drug and alcohol problem, that he treated.

That is why I was surprised he looked so good. He was so burnt out when he was young.
I'll have to ask hubby if we ever saw him live.
I can't rememver that, but I read this and remembered it totally!

In 1976, Cocker performed "Feelin' Alright" on Saturday Night Live. John Belushi joined him on stage doing his famous impersonation of Cocker's stage movements.

Stupid brain.

I remember that. It was one of my favorite Saturday Night Live television events.

I don't really think he was all that wasted most of the time, just that it was his bluesy style, the way his words weren't understandable.

Lets face it, unless you sat with the liner notes and listened to the album, anybodys album, you couldn't understand the words.

Cripes, I just realized that I suggested tomato when they are, in fact, fruits. My bad.

Try some fruits.
