Mine is in Pennsylvania some place, maybe about an hour away from me. Not due till Friday. I could only get one too, due to the "button" issue. I'm wondering if I get lucky enough to get in on it again and have the "button" issue, will the fantastic people at WOOT let me email them for the other two? Wish I would of known that but this is my first time and I'm just lucky to have finally gotten the one.

Not to bring you down, and it's still a good deal, but the Toshiba model # on the box in that picture isn't an HD-DVD player, it's an upscaling standard DVD player (sort of like the Oppo Woot had last week). Still a very good player (Toshiba makes nice stuff) but don't go running out to pick up some clearance HD-DVDs at Fry's.

I'm kinda hoping for a set of golf clubs on the inside...I'm a lefty, so I know that I can't use them b/c they will almost certainly be right handed, but I figure I can sell them for enough money to buy a set of left handed clubs (I have never golfed before, so I've been wanting a cheap set- and no one I know golfs left handed--even the left handed people!)

Ah, oh well. Upscaling is just as well. There's no Frye's near here to pick up clearence movies at anyhows.

I jumped online and looked and my total loot was worth about $125 as per what the google shopping cheapest vendors. Definitely worth the $6.

Yah, I've been paying attention and haven't noticed any difference in luck. I received mine today with the nike ipod armbands (10), tootsie roll thing, and a laser level. So it seems that some just paid an extra 2.00 for the same chance at all the same carp! I am happy with mine, but still am wondering how this 1,2,3 thing works or doesn't work!

Hooray for Woot! My bee oh see came yesterday, and I am most pleased.

Oh yeah, and one of those Esteban guitars with amp and DVD 1-5! I'm a now-and-then musician and have always wanted an acoustic-electric, but could never justify buying one because I own two electric guitars and one bass, so this is awesome. Of particular note is that the box reads:

I have not seem a great deal of post stating that they only ordered one. I was in the same boat where waiting for the buttons to load could have made me miss getting in all together. I am hoping for something good, but totally glad that I got in, even if I was only able to "buy 1".

According to the tracker, it will get here by Saturday. A previously wooted item was the micro SD cards that show as having been delivered, but so far, I got nothing. We'll see what which order gets here first.

Depends on where you go, but you'll find (and geek sites confirm) that the n800 is better at finding wifi sites than any laptop. Most businesses (even my dentist - go figure) and hotels now have open wifi for customers. Also fun is driving through metro areas and seeing what people name their wifi connections, heh. Y'all ain't right.

Note that the n800 can also connect via bluetooth, but only if you have a bluetooth capable *Nokia* phone. Other brands (even with blootoof) won't work, which is teh suk.

The n800 is pretty powerful, and has a GORjus screen. You'll find some really good apps for it at maemo.org, and some good info/help at internettablettalk.com/forums (there's a separate forum for the n800). Nokia itself also has a users guide pdf, and some onscreen tutorials that are quite helpful. You can also pick up nifty accessory things for your n800, like a bluetooth keyboard (the i-go, $60) and GPS.

My n800 came with a kinda useless sleeve/cover for it. I added a silicone cover like the one shown here http://tabletblog.com/2007/05/boxwave-flexiskin-n800-cover-review.html. Makes all the difference in the world. Also be sure to get extra screen covers... the stylus beats on the screen a LOT, so you'll want spare covers. I also recommend a spare battery (battery life, especially on the ones that come with the unit, aren't wonderful: 4-5 hours), which stores nicely when tucked in the back of the silicone cover.

Strangest thing - woot's site is one of the only pages I've discovered that won't display right on the n800. It works - but the stuff at the top doesn't show right. And I partly bought mine to ease the pressure during woot-offs (okay, it was so I could pee without missing the Blogging Old CEO).

Well said. Someone mentioned a few months back that if you are in it for the quantity of items or 'getting your money's worth', try this: Go to a dollar store with a paper bag. Give them $8 and tell them to fill the bag for you with random things from the store. You will walk away with lots of stuff that retails for $8 (and you won't feel 'screwed').

This whole thing is a game, we all do it because it is fun. If we didn't enjoy it, we wouldn't lose sleep so many nights.
