I bought these when they were last on woot and, for the purpose which they were purchased for (gaming) they have not let me down. I have had a history of paying 80 to 100 dollars for headphones, and finally decided to try something a little easier on the wallet... I use these for gaming only, the few times I have used them for music or movies, I have been let down. They sound CLEAR and great, but the frequency range doesn't appear to like these mediums. There's no bass, and I think that's the biggest complaint if you were to want them for music.
They cover your ears well and block out sound perfectly, any background noise is nearly non-existent with these things on, and even talking in the room will not disrupt you.
I do however think they are ugly, but then again all full-ear headphones are... my Icemat Siberias were not bad looking at all though, but in retrospect, it didn't really matter how they looked. I was usually sitting in front of my computer for the time anyways.
I know it's a little late to write a review but if anyone is out there thinking about buying these at the last minute, please do. You won't be let down, for 25 bucks it's a great deal for a very good headset. (I have never used the microphone, sorry)
