Also, I have no children, but I work at a warehouse store which is very popular with those that have large families, (not just LDS families). I think that these would be good for people who have many children because of the fact that they fit the category of "disposable" headphones because they are so inexpensive. Kids are rough on headphones, so these are a good option. Most likely these will far outlast any headphones that can be bough at a dollar store, so this is not a terribly bad deal. Also, I like to poke fun at Utah because I live in a neighboring state, and also because Utah always seems to be one of the biggest Woot buyers according to the Woot Maps.

Ah I misunderstood. My apologies

It would be nice if, at least, the "Wootifer Gods" might give us an idea as to how we anger them....so I might have an idea as to how not to peeve them again????

Just got six. This'd be my second Woot!, the first being a two pack of headphones. I go through headphones pretty quickly (sound cutting out in one, usually), so getting some cheap ones every now and then is nice. And hey, if I can suffer those ugly green Logitechs (http://www.woot.com/Blog/ViewEntry.aspx?Id=2247), then I can stand these.

But seriously, I think that I'm only here for headphones!

That's the WAY, brae! I mean, you can't beat the 6-pack deal on these with a stick!

Let us know how long it takes to get'em, and how long they hold up for you.

Btw, do you put ear pods thru more than your "normal duty cycle," i.e., are you particularly tough on'em, ...or lose'em a lot?

Tru dat. I love me cheapphones.

I'll try to let you guys know about delivery time (if I remember at all). As for wear, I usually use my phones for music (laptop, portable music players). When going portable, I've been known to shove a portable CD player down my backpack/bag or even pants pocket (jeans, mind you), which could wear on the connector/wires from getting tossed around and pulled on, but I don't do this often. I usually leave my music in my car radio or on my computer. However, I am looking into getting some sort of mp3/wma/whatever device, perhaps for exercise, which would increase my use. I am also used to over-the-ear phones, so I cannot tell you exactly how these will compare at the moment.

I don't know if you can do it with these, cuz the "handle" on them is bigger than most, BUT, TRY THIS with ear pods:

When they are hanging in your ear, grab the "handles" (which are pointing down toward the floor) and swing them up/forward so that they are pointing forward...and then try to cram them in your ear canal such that the speakers are facing/touching the wall of your ear canal that is nearest your eyes/nose.

*IF* your ear pods are of a shape (e.g., Sony's with my head) where they will stay this way, YOU ARE IN FOR A REAL TREAT!

If they won't stay there by themselves, just hold them there for a minute...to see what I'm talking about!

You won't think this exercise sounds (pun intended) so ridiculous WHEN YOU TRY IT!

Just got my six in today.

My review:
1) The look isn't as bad as I thought it was. The color was more of a metallic blue, which is by not uncool.
2) The cord is a good length: down to my knees from my ears (and I'm 5'10").
3) The sound isn't bad. It's not crystal clear (but still acceptable by my terms), and very loud (especially the bass). Rick Astley sounds exactly like I'd expect he would, though I'd rather hear it from my surround sound system. I don't care what you say; I like that song.

Got mine today. The pretty packaging says "Color Match", but I can't imagine what else in the world is this color. Then a little lower down it says, "Distinctive Color". Yeah, that's more like it.

Like 'em so far. Volume's good, clarity is good enough.
