Yep, yours is now backtracking across the country from one sorting station to
the other.

And you still don't have an estimated delivery date. Thats bad. You may not
see your drives for a few more weeks, if at all.

From past posts, it seems that the more a package moves back and forth between
different sorting stations across the country, the greater the chance that the
item will be lost or stolen, and never delivered.

Your saga has just begun.

I live in Denver. I thought I sensed the presence of a 2-pack of thumbdrives in our fair city last Wednesday. Oh it was fleeting though. Maybe Monday.

tracking shows it's in my hometown in CA but my estimated delivery date got pushed back a day! i've been patient so far but having them change the estimated date is ridiculous!!! thumbdrives don't weigh that much, we paid $5 for shipping that should have covered shipping via regular fedex or usps.

the thumbdrives showed up with my mail today... comical!

I live near Chicago. My original Estimated Shipping Date was yesterday, 10/10. I still have not received them and now the estimated shipping date has been removed from the SmartPost tracking info. My next-door neighbor ordered a pair and he received his two days ago. Hmmmm.

This is my first order from Woot, and I have to say that as a university librarian, I deal with this brand of "smart" from people that are worse than SmartPost on a daily basis. Still waiting...

I live in Tucson, Az which is about ~90 miles south of Phoenix. Why is it going back to Dallas? Is there any way that we can convince Woot to switch shipping methods. It just seems crazy to use a method that is so unpredictable. Regular USPS would do a better job than SmartPost

Mine just came in today. It comes in one of those padded yellow envelopes and it's pretty small. Mine was about 5' x 8' and I ordered two (though I imagine they'd use the same packaging for one as well).

Yeah, Smartpost is definitely not a next-day affair, but I have trouble complaining when the price is only $5. yeah, seems silly for this, but when you buy a new computer or vacuum or something big like that, still $5. that price=worth the wait?

Yours has gone the way of thousands and thousands of others. Its probably been
stolen/lost/stuck in a sorting station since its not been updated in almost a week.

This is the accepted way of doing business when using smartpost, and neither
Fedex nor the post office cares.

You have to contact woot directly to ask them to either re-send your items, or
give you a refund.

If you get no reply from woot, then contact your credit card company and start
the refund process, which can take up to 3 months to rectify.

If you do get a reply from woot, it will probably be something along the lines of
wait another 5 business days, which is another week, before anything else will
get done about it.

Good luck to you. You are NOT alone. Just ask the thousands upon thousands
of people here in previous woots that never got their items when they were sent
via smartpost.

Not even close pal. Just go back to the previous Kingston 2gb micro card twofer
from about a month ago. There are people there that are still waiting for either
their items to show up, a refund, or a re-send out of the initial item because the
first one was lost/stolen/stuck in a sorting station.

i live in cali and mine went from texas to denver. looks like if you live in denver it goes to cali, and if you live in cali it goes to denver? then back to texas then to cali and vice versa.
