If it were a game (in which there would be far less entrants, might I add) I could have made one in flash all weekend. So please consider images only. =P No hate towards the maker, very nice job.

I just threw in the game for fun. I did also enter an Osma to OJ image. But now for more important matters; Woot has a new AUCTION. The Razor is dead. Long live the MP player. Actually, this is what they should have put in this weekend: the MP3 player imbedded in the razor so that the razor could be useful!

I talked to our judges a few minutes ago and they are furiously speeding over to the mountain time zone to give themselves another hour to decide. Looks like it'll be 1pm CST now for winner announcement :x

The first Woot Photoshop contest is over! The contest ended with over 150 unique entries to choose from, causing the judges much headache and heartburn, but finally, the results are in.

Honestly, there were a few great entries, and a bunch of crap. I convinced our boss that if we threw more money at the winners, we'd get better stuff next time around. Amazingly, he agreed!

First place gets $100, a Woot hat and shirt (instead of the $20 we mentioned before), second place gets $50, and third place gets $20!

Truthfully, I'm more impressed with the mad skizills of the Jesus pic, but there's just something about Stalin holding high the goo-squirting, triple-head-action, as-capitalist-as-you-can-get Norelco that makes me chuckle every time. And that chuckling equals cash in the pocket (or at least in the email account) for Popsmear, who will receive $100, once we figure out who the heck he really is.

We decided to go with paypal for winners to make it more real. Plus, our coupon code system only allows codes to work when total price is less than the coupon code amount. Therefore, $100 winner would have to wait for >$100 item to use it.

Once we make the coupon codes more like multiple use gift certificates then we'll be able to go back to store credit.
