Any good for a kindergarten kid who likes to draw?

No, it's not as good as a Wacom tablet.
Yes, it's good for someone who is interested in trying a tablet out.
This is a good size for people with a small to medium size stroke length.

So is this NOT compatible with Vista?

In for one. I'm going to give it a try and see if it helps me sketch out UIs for web sites any easier than Visio.

The heater, if you live in Phoenix.

I have one of these. There is a bit of a learning curve if you have used a mouse for a long time.It is quite a different "feel" from using a mouse. Most of the functionality of a WACOM for a fraction of the cost. Price is good - about what I paid for mine at compgeeks.

2 questions, works with macs? for the price, comparable to wacom?

I purchased the item last time it was offered and honestly threw it out the same day. It may have been a software compatability issue with Vista however the tablet could not follow my pen strokes even on simple drawings.

Read the description for the answer to your Mac question. As for the price, I don't haven't tried the DigiPro but there is one thing I do know, this tablet needs a battery for the stylus while Wacom pens don't (I own a couple Wacoms).

What goes into the water with three arms and comes out with 4? I don't get it.

Yeeesssss my pretty, I've been waiting for this one and I keep missing it. I have the smaller one and it works well. I also happen to be running Vista on this laptop and it worked.

I don't get the riddle at the end of the description.

What goes into the water with 3 arms and out with 4?

Why did she hand him more money?

I feel stupid

Consensus - good entry-level tablet? I'm curious, as I've been looking for something just like that for a decent while now. If it's worth the forty bucks, in for one.

For the price, it is perfect for someone wanting to try out a tablet. I have one, and I just bought a second one tonight. I use it to draw my tshirt derby entries; (check out the link to see my shirt, but don't blame the tablet on my drawing skills; I just started drawing digitally about a month ago.

***Be careful if you are left handed and heavy handed like me... I slightly cracked the barrel of the pen from my "heavy hook."

I bought one of these from woot last time they had it.

it is adorable. I really enjoy using it. No it is not a wacom but it doesn't cost like one either.

this is a fantastic entry level unit... and i am an entry level user, so i think it is nifty!

Maybe I am too much of a literalist, but I don't get the joke either?

She made up the question and didn't have an answer, of course.

I'm wondering if it's Vista compatible as well. No Vista support is a deal breaker for me and I'd really love to get one of these.

SenSo

EDITED - see here for Vista answer: http://www.uc-logic.com/support/faq_V01_E.htm

Anybody know for sure?

Everything I'm finding on the www seems to indicate that this is not Vista compatible.

Can anybody verify?

Found this - http://www.uc-logic.com/download/driver/Driver%205.01.zip

So maybe Vista?

1) They changed the joke, it's normally that she hands him 5 bucks the first time (instead of the tablet)

2) She made up the question, she doesn't know the answer.

3) As per their agreement, she has to hand him another $5 since she could not answer his question.
