Oh nice! I've been trying to get both of my parents onto skype for a while now and these will be perfect! (They live 1k miles away.) they each have their own laptops, so this is awesome. Woot woot!

I <3 Woot!

I can tell there won't be many review links to find on this one. But let me know if you find any. I like the color selection on these babies. They go for like $80 each on the CSEs.

I do a daily woot blog where I talk about the woot, link to CSEs, find reviews, etc. A few people have told me it's useful. Google "useful linkage" and there it is.

For those of us with significant others, this could make some sense... one for you, one for them (Christmas gift?)

My SO could use one of these with all of the business trips she makes. Come to think of it, so could I...

I wish I could find more reviews, though, like a previous poster said. Any luck finding any more? Anyone?

Amazon reviews are there. Only 7, but hopefully helpful nonetheless.

I'm in. I read a good review here (http://techgage.com/article/hue_hd_webcam/). For talking to my family across the country, it will do the job

Reviews seem mostly good at Amazon (link above, or here), and it's pricey there ($95 ?!). Seems Mac compatible, too.

Sellout.woot may or may not have a cheap lil webcam for $9 shipped. The link brings you to a coffee maker - turnover time bugs, I guess? (Edit: looks like that webcam was yesterday's deal)

Anyone know how they handle in low light situations? My Philips SPC900NC is awesome and picks up anything even in no light, but most webcams can't see carp in my dark room. I wouldn't mind a new one because for some reason, my 900NC doesn't work with this computer, but only if they brighten up a dim room.

Apparently these are supported by "Linux 2.6 kernel and above", according to Amazon's technical details page for the "Clique HD PC / Mac Webcam - Color Red" (B000TTIP8Q).

So many colors to chose from but you can only choose one. I want a green and a black.

My first WOOT! I've been watching WOOT! for months, and this is my first woot! I wish we could have picked different colors, because I'd love to give one away as a gift, but no one I'd know would like the green as much as I!
