I picked up one similar to this to use as just a media center for $229 on woot, not that long ago. As long as you don't leave it on for a long time it is ok, It tends to run really hot, and comes preloaded with tons of carp. If you clear out the start up programs and only use it as a media center then it is ok.

If your looking for something other than a media center, bit the bullet and purchase a Mac already
