- means we'll have to leave several hours later tomorrow. grr.

Same here... elem & middle had half days but not high school.

At elementary, they're not going to do anything tomorrow anyway. Find out when they do state attendance (probably 10am) and take him out after that. He'll be counted present all day most likely.

Oh, Good morning.

Hai Joyner!
Way up in the suburbs, there are still a few stubborn piles hiding in the shade. It's mostly gone, though. I feel so hearty!

We got daughter out early and she was counted for the entire day. We don't do it very often!

Counted present or absent?

You have to find out when they take the state attendance (for funding). They'll do it at the same time every day. After that time, they are usually counted present for the entire day. At least around here that's how it works. Mileage may differ in different school districts.

They're doing the all-school sing at 2:00. He'll be upset if we pull him out, although a lot of people are already gone, apparently.

For us too. High of 35.

Son and I are getting ready to go to the Gaylord ICE exhibit:

Visitors will feel as though they have been transported to the North Pole as they bundle up in warm parkas and enter this winter wonderland created with TWO MILLION pounds of ice and kept at a wintry 9 degrees.

BUT first, take my car in for oil change & stuff and Waffe House.

Laterz

Humm, I think I should be insulted. Rusty is crying to get out of the room I'm in and go see son.
Or maybe follow the cat around.

Tree is finally done!
Few more gifts to wrap.

Hiya joyner and Gman!

Maybe it was hubby he was wanting.
Hubby went to the //gasp // mall to get a power cord at the Apple store.
Those things cost a fortune and they break. I got a new one. Daughter needs one. Son's friend asked to borrow one of ours because she got 2 already!
That is just wrong.

Gman, just tell the ladies that you have this 24 year old on hold and that you make love to her 4 times a day and no time for family. I can't believe people ask such personal questions.

One is new. Daughter is living with a guy.
Son's girlfriend is coming too, but she has been here a bunch of times and I've been to her house, which had similar standards as here.
Boyfriend actually cleans.

Bathrooms are different. They need to be clean if someone other than us is going to use it.
When they all leave, I'll scrub it again. Then it will just rot with our dirt.
