kinda sorta completely incorrect.. they randomly happen on 1st or 2nd day, sometimes 2-3 times during a woot-off - and they are usually in the mid afternoon to evening so more people have a chance at them.. They also can not even show up in a one day woot-off (has happened many a time) - soo, we shall see..

Totally random, unless it's by design not random which happened in the now infamous April Fool's Day Woot Off earlier this year.

The Banjo of Consternation may or may not show up during a Woot Off, just as it may or may not show up on any given night at midnight central time.

It varies.... although it is usually near the end. My last one was truly carp. I got a digital camera bag (the size of like pack a gum) and 4 (yes 4) hard clear cases for the Sansa. I actually felt like I damaged the environment by ordering it - the cardboard box, the fuel for the postman to deliver, the plastic I threw away.
