I dunno. I must be pretty resistent; I'll get cold symptoms for three or four days then feel fine.

Can't recall the last time I had real knock-down drag-out flu.

I don't think I've had the flu in quite a few years but I remember it as bad. Once the asthma developed, doc told me to get a flu shot every year.
Son had flu a couple years ago. Wasn't too bad but wasn't fun. He gets a flu shot now too.
I haven't had a flu shot in over 10 years.

A little . . . but I always feel that way after eating (ex) M-I-L's stuffing. (the boy kindly brought home some dinner from their get-together yesterday.)

Put a bunch of ice cubes in a large freezer bag and whack it against the concrete porch.

He's just feeling catty . . . get him a diamond stud collar and a box of bon bons and he'll be okay.

From one site:
Catnip won’t hurt a dog. If he eats the whole catnip stuffed toy mouse there could be a problem with intestinal blockage, but the herb by itself is no problem. There are a few dogs that respond to catnip much like cats do. However, many more (but not all) dogs respond to anise the way most cats respond to catnip.
I dunno; he sounds like a normal dog to me . . .

Yup; any hard surface. Same priniciple as busting loose a bag of ice from the convenience store.

Since you're getting rid of 'em, just take the tree to the door and shake 'em all off. Sweep up in the morning.
