There goes the theory of "if I get another cat I will get over my allergy and be able to tolerate my own cat" poor Orc, he really loves cats.

hehe, I wonder if it will be that bad. I always had a cat and a dog growing up. I played my summers on my grandparents hog farm. But then after my first year in college I went home and had trouble with my cat. Not the whole time, just at first, but it's gotten worse since then. Of course that cat is no longer with us, and my Mother does not want another one, so whenever I am around them now it is only for a short time. Still get all itchy and miserable though.

Wife is allergic to animals (supposedly). But I really want a dog again. We'll see. But I did make a step in the right direction- we have a bird...

I never had critter allergies growing up - seasonal stuff only. But my allergies have gotten more outta control the older I get. And it seems that I have developed a dreadful intolerance to dalmation fur - last few times I have held a dal I have broken out in hives.

Well we found out what has been getting into our trash can and trashing our yard. I know the owners won't do anything about it because they are already against ordinance for letting it run outside. Plus I'm pretty sure it's from the meth house down the street. I don't want to kill it, but it is becoming a nuisance, and I am a smidge worried for my kids as they start playing outside more.

We're supposed to get less than an inch tonight. Which means probably five or nothing.

I'd be more apt to call the local dog control officer....making him sick with your trash won't keep him away from your yard.

No, but he would make a mess on his owners carpet, and maybe make them keep him in. Yeah, we are going to try to catch him next time we see him. And report him to the main office. The controller can't come in the neighborhood because it's all technically private property or something like that.

I was going to put it in the trash because that's his favorite thing in my yard. I have frozen fragments of diapers stuck to the grass. A whole section of the yard we can't use until it thaws in a couple more months.

odds are, if he messed the carpet, they'd boot his ass out even more.

That'd work too. If he's here, he has to be registered with the office. If the office catches him in the street more than once, they'll get evicted. Their people only notice stuff if it happens during the day though.
