Didn't know Hugh Jackman could sing and dance.

Well, another day has passed and I didn't use algebra once.

That line from Betty White about an Easter Egg hunt in the movie trailer was hilarious.

It isn't wet, but it was windy and cold out.
Dog didn't pee or poo.
I could have been watching the awards instead of walking aimlessly waiting to pick up a poo that never came.

Sorry

You could come over here. I think the awards are just starting on this side of the country, not that I get that channel.

Jerry Lewis is looking much better than he did a couple years ago when he bloated from steroids (back pain, I think).

Talking about a guy who overdosed on methadone.
Q. Do you know why he was hospitalized?
A. Yes.
Q. Why is that?
A. For optendation and respiratory failure.

I can't find "optendation" or anything like it. Any clue?

This is weird. There's also a word "obtundation" that means the same thing. I'm finding both now.

Great. Washers leaking bit during rinse/spin. I know what's causing it because I had it fixed once before. I was hoping to figure it out myself but no luck. The washer is sitting in pieces at the moment. Sigh. Repair dude from Sears coming on Tuesday.

Sears repair has always been good for me. Just wish the washer had waited a few months. I'm mostly gonna get a new one when I move. Grrrrrr.

I've never dealt with repair. . . I have enough issues getting what I buy.

You need to instill greater fear into the sprites in your electronics devices. Then they will behave for you and only break for others. Once labhard at the University never came to do repairs for self reporting errors on my shift of lab monitoring. Not because I fixed the computers, but because the sprites knew to behave themselves if I was there, and any errors that were reported would be missing on my shift.

Try different kinds of brushes. Maisy hates the metal prong kind but loves the shedder style. You can even use a soft bristle human brush.

Oh, and don't press down too hard. If there are tangles, go easy since he has long hair.

Good point. Our two cats I had in junior high/high school didn't like the same kinds of brushes. Ironically the longer-haired cat liked the softer bristle brush and the short haired cat liked the metal tonged brush.

I have a cat size furnator, or what ever it is called.
i use it on all of them...rats, dog, and cat.
rusty really doesn't have a thick coat.
The 10 lb cat has more fur!
The cat wasn't shedding when he was here in the winter. We will see what happens on Easter break.

I brush. He leaves and shakes. Fur flies off. I wonder where he went?

Well, see you all tomorrow.

Gnite.

Good morning everyone! Hey Joe! Daughter is in bed today. When her asthma kicks in, she gets very dizzy, sometimes she throws up. You can tell her O2 is low because she gets pale. She will sleep for a couple of hours and she'll be much better when she wakes up. Ever heard of anything like that?

when you're sleeping and metabolism is low, you don't need as much O2 nor do you need to get rid of as much CO2, so your body can function with less lung operating well. she probably 'catches up'.

-it's better to not have low O2, though.

sometimes, just making a fake yawn, big inhale and exhale will open up the airways almost as well as albuterol.

so when asthma kicks in the O2 is low because of constricting of the airway?

joyner wrote:so when asthma kicks in the O2 is low because of constricting of the airway?

right. that, and mucus buildup in the airway. also, people panic and start to hyperventilate, and then they don't breathe deep enough, so the O2 drops and CO2 builds up, and THAT is what drives you to breathe, not lack of oxygen.
